Yoro will be out until at least the start of December due to the fractured metatarsal that he suffered during a pre-season clash with Arsenal, with his debut for the club potentially coming against the Gunners in the Premier League.

Tyrell Malacia

Type of injury: Knee

Possible return date: Unknown

Malacia missed the entire 2023-24 season due to a serious knee injury which required two separate operations, and the left-back is still not ready to return, but he was able to take part in the warm-up part of a recent training session.

Luke Shaw

Status: Out

Possible return date: October 19 (vs. Brentford)

Shaw has been absent early in the season due to a calf problem, and the left-back will again miss out here, but he is expected to be back for the clash with Brentford after the international break.

Kobbie Mainoo

Status: Minor doubt

Possible return date: October 6 (vs. Aston Villa)

Mainoo was not risked against Porto due to a minor muscular issue which he suffered against Tottenham, but the midfielder has a strong chance of returning to the squad here.

Mason Mount

A head injury and a knock contributed to Mount missing out against Porto in the Europa League, but there is a chance that the Englishman could be back in the squad for this contest.
