Unfortunately for the Hammers, they have been unable to replicate those sort of results on their travels, having lost each of their last four WSL away matches since drawing 1-1 with Everton in October.

In fact, they have failed to win any of their previous 12 WSL road trips (D2, L10) since beating Bristol City 2-1 in January 2024, indicating that a point may be the best they can hope for in a difficult game against the Gunners.

Arsenal defender Lotte Wubben-Moy is set to miss a second straight game after missing the win over Tottenham through injury.

Beth Mead is in contention to play some part of Sunday's fixture, having recovered from the injury which forced her to pull out of Sarina Wiegman's England squad.

Slegers may be tempted to stick with the same starting lineup that cruised to a 5-0 victory in the North London derby before the international break.

As for the visitors, they are unable to call upon the injured Jessica Ziu, while Kristie Mewis is unavailable for selection after announcing her pregnancy in November.

Belgium international Amber Tysiak could return to the matchday squad after serving a three-match suspension prior to the international window.
