Raheem Sterling has sent a message of support to former Manchester City team-mate Sergio Aguero with the Barcelona striker still in hospital after suffering chest discomfort and breathing problems this weekend.
Aguero was taken off in the first half of Barca's La Liga clash with Alaves following a collision with defender Victor Laguardia, with the star seen clutching his chest.
The 33-year-old was in visible discomfort after the coming together and it was later revealed that his heart rate was much higher than it should have been.
Aguero was taken to hospital for tests on his heart immediately and has remained there ever since.
Marca reported on Sunday that Aguero was expected to remain in the hospital for the next couple of days for a number of examinations from cardiology experts to try and diagnose the problem after Sport claimed that initial examinations found arrhythmia - a condition where the heart beats with an irregular rhythm.

A number of stars have sent messages of support to Aguero, and Sterling was the latest to reach out to his old friend.
Sterling tweeted: "Stay strong my brother @aguerosergiokun, we're all with you. Get well soon".
Manchester City's official Twitter account also sent their best wishes to the legendary striker, tweeting: "Everyone at Manchester City wishes you a speedy recovery, @aguerosergiokun. We're with you."
Aguero cemented his status as one of the all-time City greats during his decade-long stay in Manchester.
The Argentine star is the clubs all-time record goalscorer - and etched his name into City folklore by netting the iconic last-gasp goal to clinch their maiden Premier League title back in 2012.
Despite his success in Manchester, Aguero has had some tough luck since arriving in Spain on a free transfer this summer.

He was making just his fifth appearance for Barcelona at the weekend having missed the start of the season with a calf injury.
And he now looks set for an extended spell away from the pitch following this weekend's concerning development, with neither Barca nor Aguero likely to take any risks given the serious nature of his issue.
Away from the pitch, the Catalan giants remain in turmoil following the departure of boss Ronald Koeman, who was dismissed after a string of sorry results.
Sergi Barjuan has been handed the reins on a temporary basis whilst the Barca hierarchy ponders their next move.
The clash with Alaves was Barjuan's first match as interim boss, and he gave an update on Aguero immediately after the final whistle.
"I asked him and he told me he was dizzy," said Barjuan of Aguero. "I was told he went to the hospital. I don't know anything else."
