Chelsea stars Chilwell and Hudson-Odoi soaked by Stamford Bridge sprinklers

Chelsea trio Ben Chilwell, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James were soaked by the Stamford Bridge sprinklers whilst parading the FIFA Club World Cup trophy.

The Blues returned to the Bridge for the first time since being crowned champions of the world, facing Lille in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie.

A 1-0 win in Abu Dhabi against Palmeiras saw Chelsea claim the Club World Cup for the first time, the only major trophy the team was yet to win.

After returning from the middle east Thomas Tuchel's men beat Crystal Palace 1-0 away at Selhurst Park, but had to wait before returning to their home turf.

Ahead of the match against reigning French champions winners Lille, Chelsea's players took the trophy out on the pitch to show supporters the one honour they'd yet to pick up.

But when it was the turn of Chelsea's young English group, someone sneakily put the sprinklers on.

Hudson-Odoi appeared to get blasted directly, with Chilwell ducking out of the way and James heading off laughing.
