Zidane wore the eye-catching boots as his country took on Italy in World Cup final in Germany in 2006.
In what went ended up being one of football's most iconic games, Zidane put his country ahead with a Panenka-style penalty kick after just seven minutes.
However, the match is better remembered for the Real Madrid legend being sent off in extra-time for his headbutt on Marco Materazzi.

The white, gold and black Predator Absolute boots made a return two years ago, and now a revamped version of the Frenchman's iconic pair can be bought for a cool £250.
"Germany, 2006. An icon returns to lead his team to the final of football's greatest competition," adidas wrote after re-releasing the boots.
"Celebrating one of the game's most memorable comebacks, these limited-edition adidas boots reintroduce the golden Predator Absolutes France's legendary captain wore during that famous campaign."

It's a strange explanation from adidas, as France went on to lose the final after Zidane's sending off, as Italy won the penalty shoot-out to lift the famous golden trophy.
However, despite lashing out and being shown red, Zidane was hailed for his part in France reaching the final in his golden boots and so cemented his place in French football history.
Aside from winning the Golden Ball in the tournament, the 2006 World Cup marked Zidane's comeback in international football, as he came out of retirement to help his side qualify for the competition.

After the World Cup final, Zidane hung his boots up for good - hence adidas honouring the iconic golden pair ahead of this winter's tournament in Qatar.
