The French star has been the biggest talking point in football in recent weeks following his high-profile contract situation that marked him as one of the most in-demand players in the game.
With his contract due to expire this summer, Real Madrid were heavily interested in making a move for the 23-year-old as they looked to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
It looked like a move was appearing likely for the France forward, however a late contract offer from Paris Saint-Germain clinched the deal that would keep Mbappe at his current club for another three years.
It has been heavily suggested that as part of his new contract, Mbappe will earn £1million a week, pocket a signing bonus of £127million and a larger percentage of his image rights.
While the matter is done and dusted for Mbappe and PSG, the Madrid supporters aren't exactly ready to move on just yet.
Supporters from the Spanish capital have descended on Paris for the Champions League final with Liverpool - a match that you can follow on talkSPORT this evening.
As well as clearly being up for the challenge of taking on Jurgen Klopp's side, they've made their feelings known regarding Mbappe's decision to stay put.
With one supporter clear to point out the lack of Champions League trophies in Mbappe's cabinet another saying that the forward 'will regret' not moving to Madrid, it's clear the feeling towards the player isn't exactly graceful.
The same can be said for Simon Jordan, who described the reported terms of his PSG deal as 'preposterous'.
He told talkSPORT: "His new contract is a preposterous scandal. The deal is an obscenity. The level of finance is obscene.
"If this is to be believed, I think that the deal is an obscenity. The level of finance in this is obscene and why I don't agree with Tebas, the bottom line is that PSG and their motivations are not the right ones for football.
"It's unbelievable that they seem to get around Financial Fair Play the way that they seem to be and it appalls me that they're able to run amok with football because this is not about organic growth in football, this is about manufactured destruction of football through finances and advancing regimes.
"Going to Mbappe, you can't blame the kid for taking this money. If people are stupid enough to give him a £100m signing bonus, £1m-a-week and god knows what else, that's offensive in itself.
"Then if you start to move into this ridiculous territory where a player - a PLAYER - is going to tell you or have an input into who he plays for, who is manager works for and who they sign.
"It's absurd, it's obscene, it's preposterous and it could only happen at a club like PSG."
