The League Two club allowed cameras to follow their progress from the Hollywood takeover in 2021 and charted the struggles of the then National League side and it's promotion to the EFL after a 15-year absence.
Now in it's second series, the Reynolds and McElhenney explained the response from their promotion chasing rivals when invited to appear on 'Welcome to Wrexham'.
Reynolds explained: "The producers sent the sweetest: 'Hey we would like to interview Notts, you guys are having an amazing season.'
"And the response is so good. It's so great."
McElhenney then shows the text response of the Notts County Supporters Group which reads: "'No. Shove your s**** documentary up your a***.'"

But McElhenney 'loved' the response of his rival club's fans and he and Reynolds were left in stitches.
Fans also enjoyed the curt reply and one took to X to write: "Whoever penned that reply should gain immediate entry to the Notts Hall of Fame."
Another replied to the post: "That's class to be fair, funniest account on twitter this. Given me a right giggle last season and a bit."
Wrexham and Notts County developed their fierce rivalry during last season's National League battle.

In the end, it was Wrexham who were victorious as they beat their rivals to the title and automatic promotion by just four points.
In one of the closest matches of the season, Wrexham narrowly beat Notts County 3-2, largely thanks to the stoppage-time heroics of former Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster.
Foster had come out of retirement just to help Wrexham secure their long-awaited promotion and their result over Notts County all but guaranteed their success.
Luckily for fans, the rivalry will continue after Notts County also secured promotion to the EFL League Two through the play-offs.
They will be looking for revenge when they meet Wrexham in League Two on October 28.
