Before kick-off, the players stuck to the usual tradition of shaking hands when they walked onto the pitch.
However, Caicedo had a body cam attached to his chest to give fans a view of what he saw, although many were left puzzled.

One fan took to Twitter to say: "Why is Caicedo wearing a bodycam??? Bro thinks he's Ben Foster."
"This bodycam is nonsense. Pls get it out of my sight," added another.
A third was certainly far from impressed as they said: "What the f*** is that bodycam s*** the Brighton lad is wearing?! Is he taking it off before the match?!"
Meanwhile one tweeted: "Nah Caicedo got a POV cam on. What the ***k is this s***?"

This user posted: "Caicedo's body cam giving me a mad throwback to that Arsenal Nike take it to the next level ad in 2009."
And another commented: "The Caicedo body cam is so unnecessary."
Play eventually commenced down on the south coast as both sides eyed the all important three points.
