It is just over four years since the England U19s offered, what they hope would be a snapshot into future glory for the Three Lions.
Goals from then Aston Villa youngster Easah Suliman and a striker from former Manchester City youngster Lukas Nmecha secured a 2-1 victory against Portugal in the final in Georgia.
Nmecha's strike secured the perfect end to a near enough exemplary tournament, which secured a third title for England's youth teams in two months, after the U20 side won the World Cup and Touloun tournament in June.
However, what happened to the young England team who were so brilliant in Georgia?
Daily Mirror Sport takes a look at what the starting eleven from the final are doing now.
Aaron Ramsdale
Aaron Ramsdale has been excellent for the Gunners since becoming their first-choice goalkeeper
Ramsdale has gone from strength to strength since excelling between the posts for Keith Downing's side.
His first tastes of senior football were unkind to him as he experienced back-to-back relegations with Bournemouth and Sheffield United.
However, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta took a chance on the 23-year-old and signed him for the North Londoners for £25m.
It has proven to be a master stroke, as he has displaced former Gunners' No.1 Bernd Leno, and gone on to keep four clean sheets in his first five matches.
Dujon Sterling
Who will be the next star from England U19s 2017 tournament win to make an impact on the Premier League? Comment below
Dujon Sterling has become a regular for Blackpool
Sterling scored an unfortunate own goal for England to level the contest for Portugal in the final, but his defensive exploits from right-back made up for it.
The young full-back has made two senior appearances for Chelsea in the League Cup and the FA Cup, but they were all the way back in the 2017-18 season.
However, he has gone on to have loan spells with Coventry City and Wigan Athletic, before returning to the Blues U23 side last season, where he made 12 appearances in the Premier League 2.
While he is still on the books of the reigning Champions League holders, he was sent on loan to Blackpool this season, where he already has five Championship appearances.
Sterling is still a bright prospect in the Blues eyes, but it could be a long process as he will be battling Chelsea academy compatriot Reece James for the right-back spot in the future.
Easah Suliman
Easah Suliman is currently on loan at Portuguese second division side Nacional
Suliman opened the scoring against the Portuguese in that glorious night in Georgia for the England U19s.
Interestingly, the former Aston Villa prospect can now be found in Portugal, where he is a regular for Liga Portugal 2 side Nacional.
He is currently on loan to the Portuguese second division side from first division team Vitoria Guimaraes SC
The 23-year-old is still considered one to watch in Portugal, and he could one day be another English star to make a Jadon Sancho-style explosion abroad.
Darnell Johnson
Darnell Johnson now plays for Fleetwood Town in League One
The former Leicester City central defender was considered one of the Foxes brightest prospects, however, he has only recently departed the club.
After loan spells at Hibernian, Wigan, and AFC Wimbledon; Johnson soon departed the club for League One side Fleetwood Town.
He has endured a mixed start to life at the Highbury Stadium, with three League appearances, in which he scored on his League debut.
Two of those appearances have came from right-back, however, with competition for places at Fleetwood high, he has been left out of the last five squads.
Jay Dasilva (C)
Jay Dasilva captained the U19 side to European Championship glory in 2017
The captain, and another vital component of the Chelsea spine which underpinned Downing's victorious side of 2017.
After two loan spells at Charlton Athletic and two more with Bristol City, Dasilva was shown the door at Stamford Bridge in 2019, where City signed him for around £2m.
He has gone on to become a vital part of the Robins', making 79 appearances since the 2018-19 season.
This season started well for him, as he played the full 90 minutes of Bristol's first four matches, but he has only started two of City's last six Championship matches.
Tayo Edun
Tayo Edun now plays for Blackburn Rovers in the Championship
Tayo Edun sent pulses racing amongst his teammates when he was sent off for two bookable offences with just ten minutes left of the contest to go.
After leaving Fulham to sign for Lincoln City in the 2020 January transfer window, the defender's performances for the Imps caught the attention of Blackburn Rovers, who signed him this summer for around £500,000.
He is gradually making inroads into Tony Mowbray's side with three Championship appearances so far this season.
Andre Dozzell
Andre Dozzell is starting to affirm a place in Queen's Park Rangers' starting eleven
The classy central midfielder was a key player for Ipswich Town for five seasons, before leaving to join Queens Park Rangers.
After five seasons with the Rams, he is also being slowly immersed into the first team with the Londoners.
He played 63 minutes of QPR's recent penalty shootout victory against Everton in the League Cup in September, and he has also made five Championship appearances for Rangers.
Goals and assists have so far eluded the 23-year-old, but he is evidently highly rated by manager Mark Warburton.
Mason Mount
Mason Mount has become one of the finest midfielders in the Premier League
Does he even need an introduction?
By some distance the most successful player of Downing's squad, Mount became a vital component of Frank Lampard's Chelsea side.
When the England legend was sacked by the club, many feared Mount's days as a starter for the West Londoners.
However, he has proved all his critics wrong, becoming one of the first names on Thomas Tuchel's list, and providing the assist for Chelsea's Champions League winning goal.
He also became one of Gareth Southgate's go-to men, as England reached the final of Euro 2020. His season was later capped off with a nomination for the Ballon D'Or
Isaac Buckley-Ricketts
Isaac Buckley-Ricketts now plays in the National League
The former Manchester City academy star has experienced a disheartening plummet in recent seasons.
Buckley-Ricketts appeared in every single match in the England U19s glorious tournament, but he has not been able to push on from there.
His first loan spell to Dutch side FC Twente was cut short and he moved on to Oxford United where he was hoping to get some more appearances under his belt.
After returning from Oxford, he was surprisingly sold to Peterborough United for an undisclosed fee, but his contract with the Posh was abruptly cancelled by mutual consent.
Buckley-Ricketts spent two seasons in the football wilderness, before joining National League side Southport in the summer.
At 23-years-old he still has time to rebuild his career, but it will require quite the effort from the youngster.
Ryan Sessegnon
Ryan Sessegnon is currently on the peripheries at Tottenham
Soon after his fantastic displays for the England U19s, Tottenham Hotspur splashed out around £24m to sign Sessegnon.
It looked to be an astute piece of business from Spurs, but he has only made six Premier League appearances since signing in August 2019.
He spent last season on loan at Hoffenheim, but his time in Germany was frustrating and the Bundesliga giants didn't attempt to make his stay permanent.
He remains with Tottenham, where he is trying to force his way into Nuno Espirito Santo's side.
The two appearances he made in Spurs' UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers are the only times he has played for Tottenham this season.
Lukas Nmecha
Lukas Nmecha has switched allegiances to Germany
He secured a place for himself in England history when he grabbed the winner against Portugal in the final.
However, the former Manchester City academy star has underwent several changes since the final, one of which the national team he plays for.
Nmecha switched allegiances to Germany and even won the U21 European Championship Golden Boot for the Germans recently.
He signed for Bundesliga side Wolfsburg from Anderlecht for around £7m this season, and he has scored two goals in six league appearances this campaign.
Josh Dasilva:
Josh Dasilva has been injured since the start of the season
The Brentford No.10 began the season watching his side hammer his former team Arsenal 2-0 in their first ever Premier League match.
He was a crucial player for Thomas Frank's side's promotion last season, contributing five goals and four assists in 30 Championship appearances last season.
A hip injury has ruled him out of all of Brentford's matches this season, but as soon as he is able to compete, he will be in and amongst the action at the heart of Brentford's midfield.
Marcus Edwards
Marcus Edwards is also playing in Portugal for Vitoria Guimaraes
Another young English player to be plying his trade for Vitoria Guimaraes in Portugal, however, he has established himself as one of their most important players.
Edwards was a late substitute for Buckley-Ricketts in the triumph in Georgia, adding extra legs and energy to a side welting under the pressure of playing with ten men.
He has been with Vitoria since leaving Tottenham as a free agent to join the Portuguese side in 2019.
Edwards' campaign has begun strongly, with two goals and an assist in eight league appearances.
In those appearances, he has started on six occasions for Pepa's side.
Ben Brereton Diaz
Ben Brereton is now Ben Brereton-Diaz since changing international allegiances to Chile
When Ben Brereton Diaz finished as the top scorer in the 2017 U19 Euros, he was just known as Ben Brereton.
However, he has undergone a fascinating evolution, changing his name to Brereton-Diaz after switching international allegiances to Chile.
