Chris Knoll, affectionately nicknamed 'Knollsy' became an overnight sensation when videos emerged of him fending off Dutch ultras on Thursday night.

After West Ham beat AZ Alkmaar in the Europa Conference League semi-final in the Netherlands, hordes of hooligans tried to break into the away end where families were situated.
But 'Knollsy', along with many others, managed to hold them off, protecting players' families as well as fans, and it has earned him widespread adulation.
And a new video has surfaced of West Ham fans singing his name outside The Carpenter's Arms, a pub just around the corner from the London Stadium.

Sporting a mean black eye, the fan looked emotional as chants of "Knollsy is massive everywhere we go" rang around the pub.
At one point the 58-year-old looked like he was holding back tears in what has been a transformative few days for the West Ham fan.
One fan had his arm around him during the video while plenty more tried to get pictures with him and another was seen telling him what he meant to the supporters as he held his face.

At another point, one man even bows down to 'Knollsy' and another kisses him on the cheek.
On Thursday night, he was hailed a hero after battling hooligans away from the family stand as West Ham beat AZ Alkmaar 1-0 at the AFAS Stadium.
West Ham star Alphonse Areola called him a 'legend' while the goalkeeper's wife Marrion Areola Valette added he was the 'biggest hero' of the night.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, 'Knollsy' downplayed his achievement and said: "I'm not a hero. I just did what I had to do. There was another guy who was fending them off.

"I don't like bullies and just had to try and stop them.
"I just thought the best form of defence was to attack. You could see they were intent on causing trouble and I did not want them to get to those behind us."
In addition, he was greeted with a standing ovation on Sunday before he found his seat inside the London Stadium as the Hammers took on Leeds.

It was a happy day for David Moyes' men as well, who beat the Whites 3-1 to make it a fine week for the club.
