Charlotte FC vs. Philadelphia (Thursday, 12.30am)
Charlotte FC are set to take on Philadelphia Union at the Bank of America Stadium in MLS action on Wednesday evening.
It is a match between two sides in the Eastern Conference, with the hosts sitting in 11th place before kickoff, while the visitors are up in fourth.
We say: Charlotte FC 1-1 Philadelphia Union
Charlotte FC have drawn eight out of their last 10 MLS games, including each of their last three, and they managed to hold high-flying Orlando City to a point at home at the end of August.
Considering Philadelphia Union lost 3-1 against bottom-of-the-table Toronto FC in their last away match, it would not be a surprise if the spoils are shared on Wednesday night.

Columbus Crew vs. Chicago Fire (Thursday, 12.30am)
Seeking to snap their seven-match winless run, Chicago Fire journey to Lower.com Field to go head to head with Columbus Crew in MLS on Wednesday night.
Wilfried Nancy's men head into the game on a run of 13 straight MLS home games without defeat against the visiting side since June 2103 and will look to continue in the same vein.
We say: Columbus Crew 3-1 Chicago Fire
Chicago Fire are in for another tough 90 minutes on Thursday as they journey to Lower.com Field, where they have failed to win their last 13 league visits since a 2-1 victory in June 2013. Nancy's side have been near impenetrable at home since the turn of the year and we see them edging out the Men in Red once again.

DC United vs. Atlanta (Thursday, 12.30am)
DC United will be looking to solidify their place in the MLS playoffs when they take on Atlanta United at Audi Field on Wednesday evening.
Heading into the game, the hosts occupy ninth place in the table, 10 points behind the visitors, who are currently up in sixth.
We say: DC United 2-2 Atlanta United
DC United have drawn their last two matches 0-0, but they are unlikely to prevent Atlanta United from finding the back of the net, considering how impressive their opponents have been in front of goal this season.
That said, Rooney's side have looked solid since the MLS season has resumed, and we think they will be good enough to pick up a point on Wednesday.

Inter Miami vs. Toronto (Thursday, 12.30am)
Inter Miami will be looking to get back to winning ways when they take on Toronto in the MLS Eastern Conference at DRV PNK Stadium on Thursday.
As we head into the final stretch of the league season, time is running out for the hosts to try and get themselves into contention for a final series playoff place while the visitors are trying to avoid a bottom-of-the-table end to the season.
We say: Inter Miami 3-1 Toronto
The hosts' main goal is to reach the playoff spots this season, and with key personnel expected to return to the squad for this match, we should see a much better display than they managed last week against Atlanta.
Toronto's away record this season has been woeful, and we feel they will suffer another defeat in this one.

Montreal vs. Cincinnati (Thursday, 12.30am)
Major League Soccer returns with a fresh set of fixtures as CF Montreal and FC Cincinnati go head to head at the Saputo Stadium on Wednesday night.
With just six games to the end of the regular season, the Orange and Blue hold an eight-point lead at the top of the MLS table.
We say: CF Montreal 2-2 FC Cincinnati
The last five meetings between Cincinnati and Montreal have produced a combined 26 goals and we anticipate another action-packed contest at the Saputo Stadium. Noonan's men have been decent away from home in recent weeks and we predict that they will hold out for another share of the spoils.

NY Red Bulls vs. Austin (Thursday, 12.30am)
Two sides who could do well with a win go head to head in MLS as New York Red Bulls play host to Austin FC at the Red Bull Arena on Wednesday night.
The hosts have picked up just one point from the last 12 available while Verde and Black head into the game without a win in any of their last seven matches across all competitions.
We say: New York Red Bulls 2-1 Austin FC
New York Red Bulls and Austin have struggled to get going in recent weeks and will both head into Thursday's matchup in search of a pick-me-up. Austin's performance on the road has been nothing to write home about and we see the Red Bulls coming out on top at the Red Bull Arena.

NY City vs. Orlando City (Thursday, 12.30am)
One of the hottest teams in Major League Soccer, Orlando City, will journey to Citi Field in Queens on Wednesday to face New York City FC.
A 0-0 draw at the Hudson River Derby versus the New York Red Bulls this past weekend kept the Pigeons four points behind the Eastern Conference playoff line, while the Lions extended their unbeaten run in league play to six matches by winning a 4-3 thriller over the Columbus Crew.
We say: New York City FC 0-2 Orlando City
Over the past couple of months, the Lions have become a well-balanced unit, adding more attacking flair to go along with their disciplined backline, and given their poise away from home and their current form, we believe they will get the job done against the Pigeons.
New York City have not played poorly throughout the campaign, but they still look indecisive in the attacking third, which might cost them again on Wednesday.

Houston vs. Vancouver (Thursday, 1.30am)
On Wednesday, a pair of sides in the mix for an MLS home playoff game will meet for the final time in the 2023 regular season as the Houston Dynamo entertain the Vancouver Whitecaps at Shell Energy Stadium.
The Dynamo were minutes away from defeating St Louis City this past weekend but ultimately had to settle for a 1-1 draw, enabling the Caps to move a point above them for fourth in the Western Conference, with Vancouver coming back to defeat Toronto 2-1.
We say: Houston Dynamo 2-1 Vancouver Whitecaps
That lopsided defeat that Orange Crush suffered versus the Caps earlier this year seems like the perfect motivation for them heading into this encounter, and when you put that together with their solid form and stingy backline at Shell Energy Stadium, it feels as though it might be too much for even a resilient Vancouver side to overcome.

Kansas vs. Nashville (Thursday, 1.30am)
Sporting Kansas City take on Nashville SC at Children's Mercy Park on Wednesday evening, in the latest round of MLS fixtures.
It is set to be a cross-conference match, with the hosts currently sitting 10th in the Western Conference, while the visitors are seventh in the Eastern Conference.
We say: Sporting Kansas City 2-0 Nashville SC
Although Sporting Kansas City are still outside the playoff places, they have been one of the best sides in the Western Conference over the past 20 matches, and we expect them to get the job done on Wednesday night.
Nashville SC have been in terrible form, winning just one of their last nine MLS games, and they have not won on their travels since the beginning of June, so we think it will be a relatively comfortable victory for the hosts.

St Louis City vs. Los Angeles (Thursday, 1.30am)
Battling for the title of the best outfit in the Western Conference, St Louis City welcome Los Angeles FC to CITYPARK on Wednesday night in MLS.
The hosts are currently three matches without a win but are still favourites to finish on top of the West, while Los Angeles are coming into this clash following a resounding success in El Trafico on the weekend.
We say: St Louis City 1-1 Los Angeles FC
St Louis have essentially secured their playoff berth which may explain a drop in form lately, but we believe they will be a stern test for the visiting LAFC on Wednesday night.
It is often difficult to replicate the energy levels after such an emotionally-draining victory against your rivals, although we feel that Cherundolo's men will be good enough for a point in this one.

Colorado vs. Seattle (Thursday, 2.30am)
Having ended a run of seven games without a win last time out, Colorado Rapids welcome Seattle Sounders to Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Thursday.
The away side, meanwhile, make the journey to Commerce City having had to settle for a stalemate for the second game running last time out.
