Matteo Guendouzi has been the subject of social media taunting from Galatasaray full-back Patrick van Aanholt after the pair clashed during a Europa League tie on Thursday evening.
Former Crystal Palace star Van Aanholt was left incensed by Arsenal loanee Guendouzi - spending the season with Marseille - after the Frenchman won a penalty... only to see it overruled by VAR.
Following the full-time whistle, both players had to be forcibly separated by their respective teammates after tempers flared at the end of the goalless draw.
However, the feuding pair did not leave it all out there on the pitch as Van Aanholt took his issue with Guendouzi public via social media.
"Running your mouth after VAR proved you wrong… likkleman needs to relax before I snatch that wig off his head. Well done to my lions for a well earned point on the roads," Van Aanholt wrote to his millions of followers.
The incident comes just days after Guendouzi had an on-field spat with his own teammate in Brazilian midfielder Gerson, who had to be restrained by other Marseille stars after being on the receiving end of an outburst from the Arsenal loanee.
Somehow, despite the fact he has seemingly fallen out with a number of players in the dressing room, Marseille boss Jorge Sampaoli is a fan of the 22-year-old and has started him for all nine Ligue 1 games thus far this term.
After a stellar start to the season, Marseille's form has stuttered in recent weeks, the French outfit winning just once in their last five attempts alongside draws against Galatasaray, Angers and Lokomotiv Moscow and a defeat to Lens.
Guendouzi was not the only Arsenal loanee to be embroiled in an ugly spat on the pitch, William Saliba also clashed with Galatasaray star Mbaye Diagne late on, in a brawl that Guendouzi quickly made sure he was involved in.
For the third time at the Stade Velodrome this season, the match was temporarily suspended due to crowd trouble as flares and missiles were thrown by both the home faithful and the away support.

Marseille talisman Dimitri Payet, Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera and visiting manager Fatih Terim all attempted to try and calm both sets of supporters from a safe distance as the altercation finally finished and the contest was allowed to continue.
Though a revival of his Arsenal career seems unlikely due to multiple falling outs with boss Mikel Arteta, Guendouzi's recent form has earned him another call-up to the France senior side - the third time he has been selected by Didier Deschamps.
He is yet to actually make an appearance for the national team at senior level, but could enjoy a debut in the Nations League semi-final against Belgium or a potential final against Spain or Italy.
