Augsburg are looking nervously over their shoulders rather than up with cautious optimism. Defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt leaves them with just a three-point cushion on the relegation zone, and without a win in five matches. In better news, central midfield pair Carlos Gruezo and Elvis Rexhbecaj are available again after serving mandatory one-match bans for an accumulation of yellow cards. Robert Gumny could also be reinstated at right-back after only being deemed fit enough for a place on the bench on Matchday 13. Ruben Vargas is an alternative to Mads Pedersen in the attacking wide areas, behind three-goal Fenerbahce loanee Mergim Berisha.
