UFC 276 date: UK start time, undercard and how to follow Adesanya vs Cannonier

Superstar Israel Adesanya will defend his middleweight title against Jared Cannonier in the headline bout of the night.

Following his light-heavyweight loss to Jan Blachowicz, Adesanya has claimed back-to-back middleweight wins over Robert Whittaker and Marvin Vettori.

Cannonier KO'd Derek Brunson at UFC 271 in February and should provide a tough test for 'The Last Stylebender'.

Meanwhile, Alexander Volkanovski will put his featherweight championship on the line against Max Holloway.

And the UFC 276 card will also see Sean Strickland, Sean O'Malley, Robbie Lawler and Uriah Hall in action on a huge night of elite MMA.

UFC 276: Date and how to follow

The main event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 2 and is being held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The prelim action will start at 1am on Sunday morning for UK fans with the main card kicking off at 3am.

Adesanya vs Cannonier can then be expected at around 5am.

The action will be shown on BT Sport 1 and their coverage will start at 1am.

UFC 276: What has been said?

Jared Cannonier: "There's gonna be a lot of technique being employed. It's gonna be a very technical — it's gonna be a striker's delight, if you will. But it ain't gonna be no striking match. This is an MMA fight.

"So, I don't plan on playing his striking game. He goads everybody into it. He confuses them, but then next thing you know, they're in there getting juiced. They didn't know they were playing right into his hands.

"I'm planning on neutralizing. I want him to be neutralized. On no level do I wanna be flaccid out there.

"If he does something, he's gonna have to be super dynamic. He's gonna have to be very dynamic. He's gonna have to be like, red alert type sh*t…

"For me, this is going to be very fun, very interesting."
