Coman has lifted ten league titles in as many seasons since he began as a 16-year-old at Paris Saint-Germain.
The 26-year-old is currently in his eighth season with Bayern Munich and lifted the domestic League trophy last season - the Bavarian giants' tenth.
Having gone on to score the winner in the Champions League final against former club PSG, he has achieved great success along the way.
Whilst he is a fan of players like Barcelona legend Ronaldinho and former teammate Franck Ribery, nobody would have thought the likes of Jay-Jay Okocha and Kevin Nolan would be up their with them.
In an interview with ESPN, Coman revealed the surprise English team he supported growing up.
Ex-Juventus star Coman was asked: "If you had to support a team in the UK, who would it be?"
The Frenchman replied: "Bolton, I liked this team when I was young."
He is most likely to have watched Sam Allardyce's side from the 2004/05 season when Bolton finished 6th in the Premier League.
The team boasted the likes of Okocha, Kevin Davies, Ricardo Gardner and Jussi Jaaskelainen, and of course managed by friend of talkSPORT Sam Allardyce.
On Coman's shock claims, one fan said: "Kevin Nolan and Kevin Davis inspiring a generation."
Another commented: "Running around a Parisian suburb pretending to be Henrik Pedersen."
Meanwhile, another said: "This is up there with John Carew supporting Scarborough."
