Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not attend the FA Cup clash with Plymouth on Saturday.
The Blues have confirmed Tuchel will also miss the flight out to Abu Dhabi after the fifth-round clash, potentially scuppering preparations for the Club World Cup.
A statement read: "The Chelsea head coach will now follow necessary self-isolation protocols and hopes to join up with the team in Abu Dhabi later next week.
"The team fly out for the Club World Cup following this afternoon's FA Cup clash with Plymouth Argyle."
Chelsea will face one of Monterrey, Al Ahly, Al Jazira or Al-Hilal in a semi-final on Wednesday.
Tuchel's men will hope to progress to the final on Saturday, with the German now in a race against time to oversee the fixtures.
