The January transfer window is kicking into gear with Arsenal eyeing Brazilian Danilo, Cristiano Ronaldo holding talks over his Man Utd future while there are also updates from Liverpool and elsewhere

The January transfer window continues to gather momentum in the Premier League with Arsenal looking to further flex their muscles.

The Gunners invested heavily in the summer but could look to add more fresh faces to their squad with Brazil star Danilo on their radar.

Manchester United appear to be a club dealing with a host of issues as Ralf Rangnick faces up to the task at hand with Cristiano Ronaldo already holding talks about his future.

Aston Villa pulled off the transfer of the January window so far by securing the services of Philippe Coutinho on loan from Barcelona on Friday.

Chelsea may look to seek cover for Ben Chilwell, who will spend the remainder of the season out whilst title rivals Liverpool are not expected to make many moves despite Mo Salah and Sadio Mane jetting off to AFCON.

A source close to Ronaldo told The Sun: "Cristiano is very concerned about what is happening at United.

"The team is receiving a lot of criticism and he knows he is regarded as one of the leaders.

"There are quite a lot of problems and Cristiano is feeling the pressure and is very stressed by the situation.

"He desperately wants his United move to be a success, but he is starting to recognise that winning trophies with the current set up could be a real struggle.
