Things are beginning to gather pace at Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea have made Kalidou Koulibaly their second signing of the summer transfer window.

The defender joins from Napoli and the Blues can turn their attention to further defensive recruits, with Jonathan Clauss believed to be on their and Manchester United's radars. Elsewhere, two gifted playmakers could be on the move as Bernardo Silva and Leroy Sane are linked with exits from Manchester City and Bayern Munich respectively.

Gnabry signs new Bayern contract

After much speculation linking Serge Gnabry with a move to Arsenal and Liverpool, the German has signed a new contract to extend his stay at Bayern Munich.

Gnabry was linked with a move to Anfield as Sadio Mane made it clear he would be leaving Liverpool to move to the Allianz Arena, while Mikel Arteta is also searching for a winger this summer.

Gibbs-White stance on future

Morgan Gibbs-White is in no rush to decide on his Wolverhampton Wanderers future, according to reports.

The midfielder has just two years left on his contract at Molineux and has been linked with a transfer away from the club this summer.

Following an outstanding season on loan at Sheffield United last season, the 22-year-old has attracted interest from Everton and Nottingham Forest.

Despite interest from elsewhere this summer, Gibbs-White is content in Bruno Lage's squad, according to Daily Mail reporter Tom Collomosse.

He also wrote on Twitter: "Gibbs-White: in no rush to decide on his future or to leave Wolves. Plenty of interest but as things stand at the moment, player happy to stay. An offer Wolves couldn't refuse changes things of course but MGW (two years left) not pushing to leave."

Bayern Munich chief executive Oliver Kahn has confirmed that Robert Lewandowski will join Barcelona this summer.

He said, via BILD: "So we have now reached an agreement with FC Barcelona. So far, however, only verbally, the contract is still pending."

Thomas Tuchel has revealed Chelsea are working on more signings after confirming the arrival of Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.

He said: "We're working on more signings. Everybody is wishing to have the complete team in pre-season but this almost never happens.

Manchester United have decided not to fly new signings Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez out to Australia to take part in the closing stages of their pre-season tour.

United were hopeful that they would complete both transfers with enough time for them to fly out to join up with their new teammates in Australia.

Barcelona have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich for the transfer of Robert Lewandowski, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

Chelsea announce Koulibaly signing

Kalidou Koulibaly has become Chelsea's second summer signing after flying out to the US to meet up with his new team-mates.

Koulibaly has joined the Blues on a four-year contract after Napoli agreed to a £33.8million (€40m) deal for the 31-year-old. He follows Raheem Sterling, who has already joined in a £50m deal from Manchester City. The Senegal international underwent a medical in London on Thursday and has now flown out to Las Vegas to join up with Thomas Tuchel and his squad, who are preparing to play Mexican side Club America on Sunday.

He will reinforce the centre of Chelsea 's defence following the significant losses of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, who left on free transfers to join Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively. Koulibaly arrives at Stamford Bridge with lots of experience, having made 317 appearances for Napoli since a £6.5m move from Belgian side Genk in 2014.
