The transfer window is well and truly open - and heading into a huge week.
Arsenal are stepping things up as they eye a £70million double raid for Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez and Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus. But they are facing competition from local rivals Tottenham for Jesus after Antonio Conte launched an attempt to land the striker.
Manchester City are believed to be happy to let Jesus and Raheem Sterling leave if the deals are right, and Chelsea are stepping up their pursuit of the latter. They hope talks with Inter Milan will secure Romelu Lukaku's exit before turning their attentions to England ace Sterling.
Across Manchester, Erik ten Hag is facing a huge week to see if United can push on and land his top targets. Christian Eriksen and Frenkie de Jong are reported to be the most 'crucial' to his plans as he hopes for movement on landing either player.
Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Calvin Ramsey and are now turning attentions to contract talks to try and tie down several first-team players.

Wolves trying to 'offload' Hoever
Wolves are actively trying to offload defender Ki-Jana Hoever as they seek to cut their losses on the ex-Liverpool man.
Hoever joined Wolves in 2020 for £13million but has failed to nail down a first-team place or develop as the club had hoped.
He was lambasted by boss Bruno Lage for 'not working hard' in March, after a 2-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace and has not played since.

Liverpool 'willing' to sell Keita in Barella deal
Liverpool are willing to let Naby Keita join Inter Milan as part of a player-plus cash deal to sign Nico Barella this summer.
That's according to Italian site CMW claim, who claim the Reds could allow Keita to depart Merseyside if they can prize Barella away from Inter. The 25-year-old Italian midfielder is rated at around £77.5m and produced an excellent performance at Anfield last campaign.

Abraham favours Roma stay
Roma striker Tammy Abraham is said to be happy in Italy, despite reported interest from Manchester United and Arsenal.
The England international finished his first season in the Italian capital with 27 goals, 17 of them coming in Serie A. Just three players - Ciro Immobile, Dusan Vlahovic and Lautaro Martinez - bettered the former Chelsea frontman in the league.
Interest in the 24-year-old might seem unsurprising considering his goalscoring exploits. However, manager Jose Mourinho is keen to keep the striker around, while a clause in Abraham's contract could make things even more complicated for the English sides.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via Football Italia), Abraham's happiness in Rome isn't the only thing which makes a stay at the Stadio Olimpico the most likely outcome. Additionally, his agent Neil Fewings will reportedly earn more the longer the striker stays with the Giallorossi - specifically, €400,000 for each transfer window which closes with Abraham staying put.

Bellerin not keen on Serie A
Hector Bellerin still has his heart set on a move to Real Betis despite interest from Serie A. The Spanish international spent last season on loan with Manuel Pellegrini's side, helping them come close to a top-four finish in La Liga.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Betis are unable to stump up the £10m Arsenal want for the 27-year-old. However, Bellerin is in the final year of his contract and is reportedly prepared to tear up his current deal to make sure of a move to Seville.
The same report claims Roma and Fiorentina might be able to meet Arsenal's asking price for the defender, who made his Gunners debut at the age of 18. The former Barcelona academy starlet remains set on Betis, though, after playing 32 times on loan last term.

Ajax refusing to sell Martinez
Ajax are reportedly refusing to sanction a sale of star defender Lisandro Martinez, with Arsenal having already seen a bid rejected.
Arteta is pushing to make Martinez what would be his third signing of the summer, following the arrival of Marquinhos and the impending deal for Fabio Vieira. But reaching an agreement with Ajax may be harder to come by than first thought.
According to TyC Sports, the Eredivisie champions have already rejected a £25.7m bid from Arsenal for the Argentine international. That has not deterred the Gunners though who will continue to bid for him.

Chelsea targeting Sterling
In case you missed it, one of the weekend's biggest transfer stories related to Raheem Sterling.
Chelsea will make a move for the Manchester City forward - if they can seal a deal to send striker Romelu Lukaku back to Inter Milan.
The London club are scheduled to talk with Inter's chief executive Beppe Marotta again on Sunday in a bid to broker a compromise that will see Belgium international Lukaku return to San Siro after just one disappointing year at Stamford Bridge.
New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly will then crank up his club's interest in persuading City to sell Sterling. The Premier League champions have been unable to agree a new contract with the England forward.
