Man Utd officials jet out to complete Antony deal
Manchester United transfer chiefs have reportedly flown into the Netherlands to complete the final stages of a move for Ajax star Antony.
The winger starred under Erik ten Hag as the Dutch giants won the Eredivisie title for the second successive year last season. He scored 12 goals and notched 10 assists from the right wing, a position that has become a problem for United over recent campaigns.
United officials are said have flown into Amsterdam to get the move for Antony 'over the line'. The Red Devils are ready to pay £40million to make the Brazilian the first signing of the Ten Hag era.

Man Utd duo informed they're free to leave
Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams have reportedly been deemed surplus to requirements by new Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag.
The Dutchman is just weeks away from his first pre-season in charge, but has endured a frustrating start to the summer window, with transfer sagas threatening to derail his plans.
Ten Hag was, perhaps optimistically, hoping to have the bulk of his window shopping completed by June 27 - when his new squad will reassemble for a gruelling summer fitness schedule.

Boehly's Chelsea in-tray
Todd Boehly is firmly in the door at Chelsea and will be getting stuck into the club's summer recruitment.
Especially now that Marina Granovskaia, for so long the club's transfer mastermind, has left following the sale of the club. The American is now set to take on more responsibility as the Blues set about adding to a squad that they hope will challenge for the Premier League title.
Thomas Tuchel's side fell away last term as they dealt with off-field distractions due to the situation facing Roman Abramovich. Nevertheless, he remains an outstanding coach but is often very clear on what he wants and is likely to have given his new owners a list of areas he wants addressing.
Boehly can quickly endear himself to the club's fans by overseeing an impressive summer that sets the club up as they seek to end a wait for a league title that dates back to 2017. We take a look at the issues facing the LA Dodgers owners as he begins life on the east side of the Atlantic.

McGregor signs new Rangers deal
Allan McGregor has signed a new one-year deal at Rangers.
"I'm obviously delighted," said the 40-year-old goalkeeper. "At the end of last season, there were a lot of games and a lot of concentration on the games.
"I then had a couple of weeks' holiday and really thought about it and spoke to a lot of people about it, and everybody said to play as long as you can.
"After the break, that's what I was thinking myself, so here we are."

Timber and Martinez compared
Manchester United's summer transfer window continues to stall as they fail to sign anyone under new manager Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag had been keen to bring Jurrien Timber with him to England but the Dutch defender has rejected all advances, meaning his Ajax teammate Lisandro Martinez has since become the next defensive transfer target for the Old Trafford hierarchy.
With United's defence leaky last season, it seems Ten Hag is set on bolstering his backline. Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane still remain first choice pairing at the club but another central defender to compete for places wouldn't go amiss.
But if Martinez is second choice to Timber does that make him good enough? Mirror Football compares the two players.

Liverpool's 'Haaland'
The time that Taiwo Awoniyi spent as a Liverpool player is one of the more curious stories in the Reds' history, with the striker now closing in on a move to Nottingham Forest.
Awoniyi arrived at Anfield in the summer of 2015 for a relatively nominal fee of £400,000. Sadly for the Nigerian, he never had the chance to pull on the famous red shirt in anger, instead spending his entire time as a Liverpool player out on loan at various European clubs.
Those loans came at FSV Frankfurt, NEC Nijmegen, Royal Excel Mouscron, Gent, Mainz and Union Berlin. Having grown frustrated with his continued exile from Merseyside, Awoniyi opted to join Berlin permanently last summer.

PSG's tactical facelift
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly set to appoint Christophe Galtier and deploy a new 3-5-2 formation at the Parc des Princes.
And the tactical switch could have a big impact on superstars Lionel Messi, Neymar and Sergio Ramos.
PSG are expected to sack current boss Mauricio Pochettino in the coming weeks and replace him with either Galtier or former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.
Galtier is the current favourite for the job after working with new football advisor Luis Campos at Lille. Campos, who has effectively become PSG's director of football, has been tasked with building a squad capable of winning the club's maiden Champions League.

According to Diario AS, Jurgen Klopp is interested in bringing Asensio to Anfield and the Reds have already informed the player's representatives of their interest.
However, Diario Sport states that the forward is not keen on a move to the Reds.
