Tottenham benefitted from a VAR error which saw the Seagulls have two goals ruled out to stretch their unbeaten run to four games.

The north Londoners now welcome a second side from the south coast, with Bournemouth moving three points clear of the relegation zone following a 1-0 victory over Leicester.

But Tottenham are in as equal need for a win as the Cherries, languishing three behind fourth-placed Manchester United.

The hosts have a number of players absent through injury, with Rodrigo Bentancur, Emerson Royal, Ryan Sessegnon, Ben Davies and Yves Bissouma all out.

Lucas Moura is serving the second of a three-game suspension with Richarlison hoping to force himself into the starting eleven.

Bournemouth have several injuries of their own with Ryan Fredericks and Junior Stanislas both unavailable.

Speaking on talkSPORT Breakfast, he said: "I can see why they're looking at Kompany, but if i was Kompany I would say no. Capital letters, NO.

"He's got Burnley into the Premier League, give it a go with Burnley and even if he didn't keep Burnley up, what he done with them in the Championship is still going to attract Premier League jobs.

"The way Spurs are at the moment as a club, why would you touch that? Why would you leave Burnley… he could, in the summer, bring in the right players and have a good go with Burnley and shock the Premier League.

"You know like Sheffield United did, Leeds did? He could do that with Burnley."
