Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has warned the success and failure of their season could hinge on how they do against Manchester United today.
The pick of this weekend's Premier League clashes sees Jose Mourinho's men take on the Red Devils.
Man United still have an outside chance at winning the title but Spurs have everything to play for, especially with top four rivals Liverpool and Chelsea managing wins on Saturday.
Spurs are currently five points off fourth place and Redknapp believes nothing less than a win will do if they're to finish in the Champions League spots.
Failure to get into the top four and the club's top brass will view the season as a 'massive failure', warns Redknapp, despite Spurs' Carabao Cup final date with Manchester City later this month.
"I think the only way it will be deemed a success by the owners and people than run the club, Joe Lewis and Daniel Levy, is Champions League football next season," he told talkSPORT.
"Anything other than Champions League football will be deemed as a massive failure.
"If they don't make the Champions League I think it will be a really disappointing year for Tottenham, even if they win the Carabao Cup. The top four is a must for them."
However, Redknapp is backing his club to get the better of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
He added: "I fancy Spurs. If I had to put my money down, which I normally do, I'd have to go for Tottenham.
"Tottenham need it badly if they want to make top four. Liverpool and Chelsea won yesterday, West Ham and Leicester playing today… I've got a feeling Tottenham will do it."
