Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou set to oversee brutal summer clearout

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou is set to stamp his authority on his squad by offloading up to ten players, according to reports.

The 57-year-old was announced as Antonio Conte's permanent replacement at the north London club earlier this month.

Postecoglou is already planning for the future, looking to build Tottenham into a force to be reckoned.

According to The Athletic, the Aussie is expected to show several stars the exit door, and he aims to reshape his side ahead of the new campaign.

Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris heads the list of names expected to leave during the summer of change.

The France World Cup winner is expected to move on after 11 years in north London, despite having a year left on his contract.

Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga, Joe Rodon and Sergio Reguilon are also expected to form part of the exodus with a defensive overhaul overdue.

The latter two spent last term on-loan at Rennes and Atletico Madrid, respectively.

Academy graduate Harry Winks is also likely to depart following a spell with Serie A side Sampdoria, despite starting the 2019 Champions League final.

Wonderkid Alfie Devine is expected to go out on loan to continue his development elsewhere, with several Championship clubs understandably keen on his services.

It does remain to be seen if the club decide to keep hold of 29-year-old centre-back Eric Dier, who has one year left on his contract.
