Shanghai Port vs. Chengdu Qianbao (Thursday, 10.30am)

In search of a third consecutive victory, Shanghai Port welcome Chengdu Qianbao to the Shanghai Stadium on Thursday in round 18 of the 2022 Chinese Super League season.

On the other hand, the visitors will be looking to return to winning ways having been denied a third victory on the bounce last time out.

We say: Shanghai Port 2-1 Chengdu Qianbao

The teams both come into this one on a decent run of results so we are expecting a cracking and end-to-end affair. That said, we are also tipping the home side to come away with a narrow win at the end of the 90 minutes here.

Wuhan vs. Cangzhou (Thursday, 12.30pm)

Two sides separated by just two points and one place in the Chinese Super League standings square off on Thursday when Wuhan FC take on Cangzhou Mighty Lions at the Dongxihu Sports Centre.

The visiting side head into the midweek clash fresh off the back of a thrilling victory over league leaders Wuhan Three Town and will be looking to build on that result.

Buoyed by their victory over Wuhan Three Town, Cangzhou Mighty Lions will head into Thursday with renewed belief as they look to steer clear of the relegation zone. Sapuric's men take on a floundering Wuhan side who are currently on a run of five games without a win and we predict that they will grind out another victory in this one.

Dalian Pro vs. Sh. Shenhua (Thursday, 12.30pm)

The Chinese Super League returns with a fresh set of fixtures as Dalian Pro and Shanghai Shenhua go head-to-head at the Dalian Sports Centre Stadium on Thursday.

The hosts will head into the midweek matchup seeking to get one over the Flower of Shanghai, having failed to win any of the last six meetings between the sides since May 2019.

We say: Dalian Pro 1-2 Shanghai Shenhua

Shanghai Shenhua have enjoyed the better of this fixture in recent years and head into Thursday as slight favourites to come away with the desired result. While we expect Dalian Pro to put up a fight, we are backing Wu's men to claim all three points, albeit by a slender margin.a
