Sunday's Serie A predictions including Napoli vs. Cremonese

Udinese vs. Sassuolo (Sunday, 11.30am)

Now separated by just six points in the Serie A standings following a change of fortunes for either side, Udinese and Sassuolo meet at the Dacia Arena on Sunday.

Posting back-to-back wins over two members of Italy's elite has moved the visitors clear of danger, while their hosts have picked up just five points since the winter break to slip further back into the pack.

We say: Udinese 1-1 Sassuolo

Udinese have scored in each of their last nine home league games, while Sassuolo are not the most secure side defensively but pose an attacking threat. As a result, both teams should find the net in a close-fought draw.

Bologna vs. Monza (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Both among Italy's most in-form clubs, mid-table rivals Bologna and Monza meet at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on Sunday.

The hosts have won three of their last four in Serie A, while their visitors would join them on 29 points by extending their own unbeaten streak.

We say: Bologna 2-2 Monza

Under Thiago Motta's management, Bologna have found a way to prosper without Marko Arnautovic, and their attacking threat now comes from several areas.

Both sides are set to score in a contest between confident teams, and a share of the spoils may well be the final outcome.

Juventus vs. Fiorentina (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Only two points apart in the Serie A standings following the hosts' recent penalty, Juventus and mid-table rivals Fiorentina clash in Turin on Sunday evening.

While Juve have responded to their points deduction and subsequent defeat to Monza with wins in league and cup, their Viola visitors remain wracked by inconsistency and languish below the Bianconeri in the bottom half of the table.

We say: Juventus 2-1 Fiorentina

The only thing consistent about Fiorentina is their inconsistency, so it is unclear which shade of Viola will turn up in Turin. That notwithstanding, Juventus are growing closer to full strength in terms of personnel and have begun coming to terms with their points penalty - it is the Old Lady who will come out on top, then.

Napoli vs. Cremonese (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Distant leaders Napoli meet rock-bottom Cremonese in Serie A's Sunday night kickoff, and the hosts aim to take another step towards the Scudetto with victory at Stadio Maradona.

Though Luciano Spalletti's men won again last week to top the table by 13 points, they were unexpectedly beaten by the Grigiorossi in the Coppa Italia last month. The visitors, however, are yet to win a single league game since promotion.

We say: Napoli 2-0 Cremonese

Separated by some 48 points before kickoff, these sides come from different stratospheres, and a repeat of January's cup shock is unlikely this week. Indeed, Napoli are set to take maximum points with another clinical performance, leaving Cremonese winless and rooted to the foot of Serie A's standings.
