Boavista vs. Portimonense (Sunday, 3.30pm)
The action continues in round 19 of the Primeira Liga as Boavista and Portimonense go head to head at the Estadio do Bessa on Sunday afternoon.
While both sides are currently separated by two points in the table, Os Axadrezados will be looking over their shoulders as they sit just two points above Rio Ave in the relegation playoff spot.
We say: Boavista 2-1 Portimonense
While both teams have struggled for results in recent weeks, history is on Boavista's side as they are unbeaten in their last eight games against Portimonense. Sergio's men have lost each of their last five league games on the road and we see them struggling once again.
Moreirense vs. Famalicao (Sunday, 3.30pm)
Moreirense and Famalicao will get the ball rolling in round 19 of the Portuguese Primeira Liga when they go head to head on Sunday evening.
The Vila Nova journey to the Parque de Jogos Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas where they have failed to win any of their previous three visits since June 2020 and will be looking to end this poor run.
We say: Moreirense 2-1 Famalicao
Moreirense and Famalicao have stumbled into the new year and will head into the weekend looking to return to winning ways. However, Os verdes e brancos' home advantage gives them a slight edge and we fancy them to claim all three points, albeit by the odd goal.
Farense vs. Porto (Sunday, 6.00pm)
Porto will look to maintain the pressure on the Primeira Liga leaders when they make the trip to Estadio de Sao Luis to take on SC Farense on Sunday evening.
The hosts are currently on 24 points, one game into the second half of the season, while the visitors are on 41 and are trailing second-placed Benfica by four points.
We say: SC Farense 1-3 Porto
While Farense have been impressive this season, they have struggled against the league's big-hitters and their historical record in this contest does not bode well for their chances.
Porto will know the importance of securing the points in this one, and we fancy them to get the job done fairly comfortably.
Arouca vs. Vizela (Sunday, 8.30pm)
Arouca and Vizela renew acquaintances for the second time in two weeks when they go head to head at the Estadio Municipal de Arouca in round 19 of the Primeira Liga on Sunday.
Both sides locked horns for a place in the Taca de Portugal quarter-finals on January 10, with the Vizelenses running out winners thanks to a late own goal from Nino Galovic at the Estadio do FC Vizela.
We say: Arouca 3-1 Vizela
Arouca and Vizela head into the weekend off the back of contrasting results, with the Vizelenses looking to bounce back from their humbling defeat against Sporting Lisbon. However, we predict that Sousa's side will pick up where they left off against Estoril and secure a third win in five league games.
Gil Vicente vs. Guimaraes (Sunday, 8.30pm)
Seeking to move into the Europa Conference League qualifying spot, Vitoria de Guimaraes journey to the Estadio Cidade de Barcelos to face Gil Vicente on Sunday.
Having picked up a 2-1 victory in August's reverse fixture, Os Vimaranenses will also be looking to complete a first league double over the home side since the 2004-05 campaign.
We say: Gil Vicente 1-3 Vitoria de Guimaraes
Vitoria de Guimaraes have enjoyed an impressive campaign and will be dreaming of securing a return to Europe. Gil Vincente have hit their stride in recent weeks, but while we expect the Gilistas to put up a fight, we fancy Pacheco's men to come away with the desired result.
