Montpellier vs. Nice (Sunday, 2.00pm)
For the 50th time in Ligue 1, Montpellier HSC and Nice will square off on Sunday at Stade de la Mosson, with the club from Occitania seeking to dig themselves out of the league basement.
A 2-0 defeat versus Lens last Sunday kept La Paillade five points below the relegation line, while the club from Southern France maintained their sixth-place standing thanks to a 2-1 triumph over Le Havre.
We say: Montpellier HSC 0-1 Nice
The Montpellier backline are so unstable and unpredictable that we believe even a tired Nice side, who played in Europe earlier this week, will eventually find a breakthrough.
Rennes vs. Angers (Sunday, 4.00pm)
Seeking consecutive away victories for the first time all season, Angers travel to Roazhon Park on Sunday for a date with Rennes on matchday 15 of the Ligue 1 campaign.
A late goal conceded last weekend sent Stade Rennais to a 1-0 defeat at Nantes, keeping them in 12th, one point above Les Scoistes, who were beaten 3-0 by Lyon.
We say: Rennes 2-1 Angers
Rennes have scored in each of their 26 Ligue 1 home fixtures against Angers, and though the visitors have been decent away from home, Stade Rennais look much more cohesive and sharper in front of goal in Brittany.
Le Havre vs. Strasbourg (Sunday, 4.00pm)
Two teams currently involved in the battle against relegation in Ligue 1 face off this weekend, as Le Havre host Strasbourg at Stade Oceane.
With just two points separating the sides in the standings, the game already feels like a crucial relegation six-pointer.
We say: Le Havre 0-1 Strasbourg
There is little to separate the teams in the Ligue 1 standings, so this should be a tight encounter between two clubs both in need of three points.
Strasbourg have struggled away from home this year, but we are backing them to get their first away win against a Le Havre side that have found it difficult to score goals this season.
Brest vs. Nantes (Sunday, 4.00pm)
With both teams within three points of Ligue 1's relegation playoff spot, Brest are set to host Nantes at Stade Francis-Le Ble on Sunday in France's top flight.
Eric Roy's side will be looking to build on their midweek Champions League win, while Antoine Kombouare's team are unbeaten in their last two matches and will be hoping to make it three this weekend.
We say: Brest 2-0 Nantes
Both sides will be desperate to stay ahead of Saint-Etienne and the relegation zone, and the chance to take points from a rival in a similar league position will be seen by both managers as an important opportunity.
However, if Brest can channel their Champions League form on Sunday then they may be too much for Nantes to contend with and should comfortably pick up all three points.
PSG vs. Lyon (Sunday, 7.45pm)
Striving to keep their unbeaten league record intact, Paris Saint-Germain will welcome an in-form Lyon outfit to Parc des Princes on Sunday night in Ligue 1.
Les Parisiens secured a much-needed success in the League Phase of the Champions League earlier in the week, whilst Les Gones enjoyed a productive night on home soil in the Europa League.
We say: Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Lyon
With two lengthy unbeaten spells on the line this weekend, we are expecting a hard-fought affair between pacesetters PSG and Lyon in the French capital.
Les Parisiens found their scoring boots at Salzburg on Tuesday, and with an extra two days of rest under their belts, the hosts should have enough in the tank for victory.
