Sunday's Eredivisie predictions including Heerenveen vs. FC Twente

Sparta vs. Cambuur (Sunday, 11.15am)

Still without a victory away from home this term, Cambuur travel to the Het Kasteel for their meeting against Sparta Rotterdam on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the home side will be looking to get back to winning ways on familiar turf, where they are yet to taste defeat in three outings this term.

Sparta have picked up five of their six points so far at home and will know that their performances on home turf will go a long way in determining how well they perform this term. We are backing them to emerge victorious come the end of the 90 minutes.

AZ vs. Go Ahead Eagles (Sunday, 1.30pm)

Seeking to avoid a fourth defeat on the trot, an out of sorts AZ Alkmaar welcome newly-promoted Go Ahead Eagles to the AFAS Stadion on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the away side have lost each of their two outings away from home and will be looking to put an end to that run at the third time of asking.

We say: AZ Alkmaar 2-1 Go Ahead Eagles

Despite all their struggles in the early part of the season, AZ are still a more than capable side on their day and are favorites to triumph in this one. While we expect the away side to give a good account of themselves, we are tipping the hosts to carry the day.

Heerenveen vs. FC Twente (Sunday, 1.30pm)

Aiming to record a fourth league victory on the bounce, FC Twente visit the Abe Lenstra Stadion to lock horns against Heerenveen on Sunday.

The home side will be looking to bounce back from a defeat on the road last time out as they return to their own turf where they have already won twice this term.

We say: Heerenveen 1-1 FC Twente

Twente have kick-started their season in recent weeks following a rough start and will fancy themselves to claim all three points in this one, but we are backing a share of the spoils with both sides settling for a point apiece in the end.

Heracles vs. RKC Waalwijk (Sunday, 3.45pm)

Seeking an immediate response to respective defeats last time out, Heracles and RKC Waalwijk draw the curtain on round seven of the Eredivisie season with their meeting at the Erve Asito on Sunday.

Both teams currently find themselves at the wrong end of the table following far from ideal starts to the new campaign and they will be looking to turn a corner.

We say: Heracles 1-0 RKC Waalwijk

The teams are low on confidence heading into this one so we expect a nervy and cagey contest with relatively little goalmouth action. We are also backing the hosts to just edge their visitors by a narrow margin and come away with all three points.
