Utrecht vs. PSV (Sunday, 11.15am)
FC Utrecht will have a golden opportunity to close the gap to the top of the Eredivisie table when they take on PSV Eindhoven at Stadion Galgenwaard on Sunday afternoon.
PSV are currently perched atop the league standings with 36 points from 13 games, five points clear of their upcoming opponent, but Utrecht still have a game in hand.
We say: FC Utrecht 1-2 PSV Eindhoven
While Utrecht have been excellent this season and managed to hold this opponent to a 1-1 draw at this venue last term, PSV's firepower is hard to overlook, and we feel they will be able to widen the gap between themselves and the chasing pack with a victory in this one.
AZ vs. Heracles (Sunday, 1.30pm)
AZ Alkmaar will be looking to win consecutive Eredivisie games for the first time since September when they welcome Heracles to the AFAS Stadion on Sunday afternoon in round 14 of the 2024-25 Eredivisie season.
Having lost 11 of their last 12 games at this weekend's venue, the visitors are faced with a huge task of coming away with all three points as they look to snap a two-game winless streak.
We say: AZ Alkmaar 2-1 Heracles
With both teams conceding goals at will of late, we are expecting an entertaining clash between two parties who should fancy their chances of claiming all three points.
Having said that, we can also see AZ fending off their visitors to come out on top at the end of the 90 minutes.
FC Twente vs. Go Ahead Eagles (Sunday, 1.30pm)
Gameweek 14 of the 2024-25 Eredivisie season sees FC Twente and Go Ahead Eagles face off against each other at De Grolsch Veste on Sunday afternoon.
Having both come out on top in their last league outings, the teams now go in search of consecutive domestic victories to close out the month on a winning note.
We say: FC Twente 2-1 Go Ahead Eagles
Both teams have had their respective spells of inconsistency this term, and Sunday's game could easily swing either way.
That said, we are backing the home side to just about do enough to come away with maximum points when all is said and done.
Nijmegen vs. Ajax (Sunday, 3.45pm)
Ajax will be out to extend their impressive unbeaten record in the Eredivisie on Sunday afternoon when they make the tip to Goffertstadion to take on NEC Nijmegen.
The hosts are on 19 points after 13 games and ninth in the league standings, while the visitors are firmly in the Champions League qualification battle, currently in third place with 29 points.
We say: NEC 1-2 Ajax
NEC have been steadily improving recently, but Ajax have been in full flow for several weeks now, and we feel the visitors will extend their unbeaten run in the top flight to 11 in a row with a victory in this one.
