Sunday's Bundesliga predictions including Hoffenheim vs. Werder Bremen

Holstein Kiel vs. Frankfurt (Sunday, 2.30pm)

Last-placed Holstein Kiel are set to host Eintracht Frankfurt at Holstein-Stadion on Sunday in each side's fifth Bundesliga game of the season.

The home side earned their first and only point of the campaign last time out against VfL Bochum on September 21 but are last in 18th place, while the visitors are currently fifth with nine points and beat Borussia Monchengladbach on September 21.

We say: Holstein Kiel 1-2 Eintracht Frankfurt

Considering the strong form of the visitors in recent Bundesliga matches, they should be favourites in Sunday's game.

However, after Eintracht Frankfurt's Europa League exploits last Thursday, it would not be surprising if Holstein Kiel created opportunities due to the away team's fatigue.

Hoffenheim vs. Werder Bremen (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Hoffenheim will look to bounce back from three consecutive league defeats when they host Werder Bremen at PreZero Arena on Sunday in their fifth Bundesliga match of the season.

The home side are fourth last in 15th place with just three points and have not won since the opening round of league fixtures, while the away team are 11th with five points and lost 5-0 last time out against Bayern Munich on September 21.

We say: Hoffenheim 1-1 Werder Bremen

It is difficult to ignore Hoffenheim's poor form in the Bundesliga, and given their sheer number of injury absentees, it would not be surprising if they started Sunday's match sluggishly.

However, Werder Bremen's struggles in front of goal might mean they create few opportunities and this could allow the hosts the chance to get back into the game.
