Peter Schemichel has blasted four of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's decisions during Manchester United 's defeat in their opening Champions League fixture.
The Red Devils' European campaign got off to the worst possible start as they were beaten 2-1 by Young Boys on Tuesday night.
Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in the first half but Solskjaer's side found themselves up against it as Aaron Wan-Bissaka was sent off for a poor challenge on 35 minutes.

10-man United held out until the 66th minute when Moumi Ngamaleu equalised and Theoson Siebatcheu condemned the visitors to defeat in added time by punishing Jesse Lingard's poor back pass.

The red card undoubtedly played a part in the result, but Schmeichel was unhappy with a number of Solskjaer's selection decisions made before kick-off.
The legendary former goalkeeper also criticised his fellow 1999 treble winner for the substitutions he made in the second half of the group-stage clash.
Schmeichel told CBS Sports : "We can always question team selection, I just think when your next game is Sunday at West Ham, first game in the Champions League - why don't you play your best team, your best players?
"Regardless of astroturf, whatever excuses you come up with, get that win on there.
"I think when you look at Mason Greenwood, he's in great form, he's a young man, he creates chances and not only does he score he creates chances for others.
"(Raphael) Varane has just come to the club but I would've loved to see those two playing.
"Then he takes Ronaldo off. We as fans want Ronaldo to be on the pitch, regardless of if they're down to 10 men, if he gets the ball he can make something happen."

Not only was Schmeichel disappointed to see Ronaldo make way on 72 minutes, he was also left aghast by the introduction of out-of-form forward Anthony Martial in the closing stages.
He added: "They were hoping for a very long time to have that kind of player [Ronaldo] and he puts somebody on that he last year he sent out on loan [Martial].
"He's a player he tried to sell, tried to loan out, and he replaces him with Ronaldo, I just find it strange.
"But to get a result in-house, it's 1-1, he puts Martial on, we talked about that, that was really weird because Martial doesn't defend well.
"He doesn't work hard, he's a goalscorer but we're down to 10 men, we don't expect to create many chances, so why put Martial on?"
United have the chance to bounce back from the defeat against West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday, three days before they face the Irons once again in the Carabao Cup.
