Real Madrid are keen on American teenager Gabriel Slonina and a deal might not be far away from being completed.
The 18-year-old goalkeeper currently plies his trade with MLS team Chicago Fire and is an U20 international with the United States.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano mentioned on May 30 that Madrid were interested in the youngster and now, days later, the player's agent, Jaime Garcia, spoke to the journalist about his hope of a deal being done.
"We hope that Chicago can come to an agreement with Real Madrid to make Gabriel's dream of playing for this club come true. He has worked very hard and is an incredible player and person," Garcia said.
"With regard to other teams and other offers, we have received many and for the moment we are grateful to those clubs, but you can't say no to Real Madrid."
