Paul Scholes reckons Mason Greenwood should be getting more minutes at Manchester United - even if that means Cristiano Ronaldo and the like miss out.
Greenwood has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford this season and has struggled for game time under both former boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as well as his successor Ralf Rangnick.
There have been numerous reports of friction between Greenwood and Ronaldo, with claims the Portugal international has become frustrated with the Englishman's tendency to shoot instead of set up a teammate.
Greenwood on the other hand is reportedly upset with his lack of playing time and the fact Ronaldo is always the first name on the teamsheet, according to El Nacional.

As things stand, Rangnick favours Ronaldo and has been dropping Greenwood in favour of his more experienced teammate.
But Man United legend Scholes doesn't believe Greenwood should be the club's scapegoat and has controversially called on Rangnick to play the youngster ahead of Ronaldo.
"Mason Greenwood is a brilliant player - great potential. The manager keeps taking him off; he's almost become a little bit of a scapegoat, a little bit of an easy target because he's a young player," Scholes said on the Webby & O'Neill YouTube channel.
"He should be playing up front for this team. As good as [Cristiano] Ronaldo and [Edinson] Cavani are and have been throughout their careers, for Manchester United's centre forwards to be 36 and 34 just tells us where the club is at.
"Greenwood has to be playing now - and in the future. He is a highly-talented lad and I'm frustrated when I watch him because you know he's going to be the first man off every single time.
"He's been shoved out in those wide areas - the lad is an out-and-out centre forward. He will score goals in this team - no doubt about that."
