Portimonense vs. Rio Ave (Saturday, 3.30pm)
Portimonense will be hoping to move out of the bottom three of the Primeira Liga standings this weekend when they take on Rio Ave at Estadio Municipal de Portimao on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts will enter the penultimate gameweek of the season in the relegation playoff spot with 28 points, while the visitors are in 10th place with 35 points earned over the same period.
We say: Portimonense 1-1 Rio Ave
This is arguably the biggest game of the season for Portimonense, who will know that anything less than three points will likely see them end the season in the relegation playoff, or worse. Unfortunately for the hosts, they are facing a Rio Ave side that are unbeaten in 10 league games, holding the likes of Sporting and Braga to draws in that time.
This should be an intriguing contest, but we feel both sides will have to settle for a point apiece at the final whistle.
Vizela vs. Estrela Amadora (Saturday, 3.30pm)
Estrela Amadora will attempt to remain clear of the Primeira Liga relegation zone when they travel to face Vizela at Estadio Do Vizela on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts will see out the final two games of the season as a formality after their fate was confirmed last weekend, while the visitors are just two points above the drop.
We say: Vizela 1-1 Estrela Amadora
While Vizela are playing only for pride from here on, Estrela's relegation battle is still ongoing, and they will know that this is about the best opponent they could have chosen to face in the penultimate match of the season. However, the Tricolores have struggled mightily to win on the road, drawing each of their last four, and we feel they will end up taking only a point from this one as well.
Estoril vs. Sporting Lisbon (Saturday, 6.00pm)
Relegation-threatened Estoril Praia take on recently-crowned champions Sporting Lisbon at the Estadio Antonio Coimbra da Mota on Saturday in the penultimate matchday of the Primeira Liga season.
While the visitors secured the title with a victory last time out, the hosts are still looking to guarantee their safety with two points from the remaining games enough to ensure their survival.
We say: Estoril Praia 1-3 Sporting Lisbon
Estoril's home form may have been their biggest strength this season but Sporting Lisbon are the much superior side and will be high on confidence after being crowned champions last weekend, leading us to believe the visitors will be victorious in this one.
Guimaraes vs. Braga (Saturday, 8.30pm)
Two sides battling it out for a place in the top four come together on Saturday evening at the Estadio Dom Afonso Henriques in the penultimate match of the Primeira Liga season.
Braga come into this game occupying fourth place with Vitoria de Guimaraes trailing behind them by five points, leaving this as a crucial encounter for both teams.
We say: Vitoria de Guimaraes 1-1 Braga
Both teams have gone through slight wobbles in recent weeks and while Vitoria have been so strong at home this season, Braga have also been hard to beat when playing on the road.
For those reasons, we believe that these two sides are incredibly evenly matched and expect this one to end in a draw.
