Los Angeles vs. Portland (Saturday, 9.30pm)
Los Angeles FC will seek to make a winning start to their 2023 Major League Soccer campaign when they play host to Portland Timbers on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the away side visit the Banc of California Stadium aiming to record back to back victories, having come out on top in their season-opener last time out.
We say: Los Angeles FC 2-1 Portland Timbers
Los Angeles' recent home form means that it is hard to envisage any other outcome rather a win for them. While we expect Portland Timbers to put up a decent fight, we just about fancy the hosts to secure the points at the end of the 90 minutes.

Atlanta vs. Toronto (Sunday, 12.30am)
Following a dramatic come-from-behind victory last weekend, Atlanta United have a chance to win their opening two matches of an MLS season for the first time since 2020 when they host Toronto on Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
A pair of injury-time goals enabled the Five Stripes to defeat the San Jose Earthquakes 2-1, while TFC conceded twice in the dying stages of their first match, dropping a 3-2 decision at DC United.
We say: Atlanta United 2-1 Toronto
The Five Stripes should have the bulk of the possession as usual, and we believe that they will be able to expose the Toronto frailties out wide and maintain their unbeaten record at home against them in the regular season.

Columbus Crew vs. DC United (Sunday, 12.30am)
Two teams at the opposite ends of the Major League Soccer Eastern Conference will meet on Saturday as Columbus Crew aim to win their first match of the season against fourth-placed DC United.
Having only played one match in the division so far each team is still finding their feet for the new campaign.
We say: Columbus Crew X-Y DC United

Inter Miami vs. Philadelphia (Sunday, 12.30am)
After both making winning starts to the Major League Soccer season, Inter Miami and Philadelphia Union will do battle in the second round of league fixtures on Sunday.
The hosts began with a 2-0 beating of CF Montreal last weekend, while their visitors dished out a 4-1 beating to Columbus Crew.
We say: Inter Miami 1-2 Philadelphia Union
Inter Miami will certainly come into the new season with plenty of optimism and will have taken confidence from their opening win, but we cannot see them getting a result against a Philadelphia Union side who looked to have picked up where they left off last season in the first round of MLS games.

New England vs. Houston (Sunday, 12.30am)
New England Revolution welcome Houston Dynamo to Gillette Stadium this weekend in the second round of the 2023 Major League Soccer season.
The Revs claimed a 1-0 victory over Charlotte FC in their opening game, while Houston suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of FC Cincinnati.
We say: New England Revolution 2-1 Houston Dynamo
Having ground out a hard-fought victory over Charlotte FC last weekend, New England Revolution look set to secure back-to-back wins at the expense of Houston Dynamo, although the visitors are expected to put up a decent fight.

NY Red Bulls vs. Nashville (Sunday, 12.30am)
Nashville SC will pay their second-ever visit to Red Bull Arena on Saturday in what will be the home opener for the New York Red Bulls in the 2023 MLS regular season.
For the second time in the last three years, New York lost their opening match of the new campaign, falling 1-0 at Orlando City, while the Boys in Gold blanked New York City FC 2-0.
We say: New York Red Bulls 0-0 Nashville SC
There is quality on both sides, although these teams prefer to sit back and defend while calculating when to counter, but they are both so organised and compact along the backline that we anticipate a tight match, with few chances either way.

Orlando City vs. Cincinnati (Sunday, 12.30am)
The 2023 Major League Soccer season continues on Saturday as Orlando City welcome FC Cincinnati to the Exploria Stadium.
Both these teams won their opening games of the campaign last weekend and as a result, they sit eighth and sixth respectively, in the Eastern Conference table.
Saturday night's fixture presents an opportunity for the winner to put a real marker down on the early season standings by recording two wins from two.
We say: Orlando City 2-2 FC Cincinnati
Saturday's match should be a closely-fought encounter between two teams of similar standing. Orlando's terrific home form and Cincinnati's momentum from last season suggest that a high-scoring draw is a likely outcome.

Austin vs. Montreal (Sunday, 1.30am)
Austin FC and CF Montreal will both be looking to bounce back from defeats last weekend when the two sides lock horns at the Q2 Stadium in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Both sides finished second in their respective conferences last term, with the Verde and Black being one of the surprise stories, making it to the Western Conference Final, while Montreal were eliminated by New York City in the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
We say: Austin FC 2-0 CF Montreal
Both sides enjoyed fantastic campaigns last year, but with Montreal losing key players in the off-season, we think that Austin will take the three points here.
The Verde and Black will be looking to respond to last week's defeat, and we think that they will have too much firepower for Montreal.

Chicago Fire vs. NY City (Sunday, 1.30am)
Chicago Fire begin their 2023 MLS campaign when they host New York City FC at Soldier Field in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The Men in Red finished 12th in the Eastern Conference last season, while the MLS Cup reign of NYCFC ended when they were beaten 3-1 by the Philadelphia Union in the Eastern Conference Final.
We say: Chicago Fire 1-1 New York City FC
With there being so many new faces in the NYCFC lineup, we suspect it will take some time for them to gel together as a unit, particularly on the backline.
Nick Cushing's side should have an easier time containing the Chicago Fire attack rather than Nashville's, but New York have fired blanks in their past two matches, suggesting that they do not have the firepower to take all three points.

Dallas vs. LA Galaxy (Sunday, 1.30am)
After last weekend's clash with Los Angeles FC was postponed due to severe weather, Los Angeles Galaxy will begin their 2023 MLS campaign by travelling to the Toyota Stadium to take on Dallas in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The hosts will be looking to respond to their defeat to Minnesota United last weekend, while the Galaxy come into the 2023 campaign looking for a sixth MLS Cup title.
We say: Dallas 1-0 Los Angeles Galaxy
Last week's defeat to Minnesota came as a surprise to most as Dallas enjoyed an excellent 2022 season, but we think that they will put that right here.
We are leaning more towards a Dallas victory, especially if Javier Hernandez is absent for the visitors.

Saint Louis City vs. Charlotte FC (Sunday, 1.30am)
Saint Louis City will look to try TO build upon their winning start in the MLS when they host Charlotte FC at Citypark in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The hosts stunned Austin FC last time out to win their first-ever MLS match, while the visitors will enter this contest looking to bounce back from defeat against the New England Revolution.
We say: Saint Louis City 1-0 Charlotte FC
We think that the momentum will be with Saint Louis City coming into this clash after their historic win against Austin, and that they will use it to their advantage here.
Charlotte were slow out of the blocks last season, losing their first three games, so we think that Saint Louis City will claim all three points.

Colorado vs. Kansas (Sunday, 2.30am)
The MLS season continues on Saturday as the Colorado Rapids and Sporting Kansas City clash at DSG Park.
Both these teams were beaten on the opening day of the season last weekend - Colorado lost 4-0 away at the Seattle Sounders and Kansas City fell to 1-0 defeat at the Portland Timbers.
