Three points for Alaves could see them go four points clear of the drop zone in La Liga, while defeat for Eibar would all but relegate the hosts.

We would expect Eibar to come out swinging in this tie, given what is at stake, but Alaves are the in-form team here and we think they will be able to put Eibar to the sword.

Elche vs. Atletico (Saturday, 3.15pm)

League leaders Atletico Madrid will travel to the Mediterranean coast this weekend for their La Liga clash with Elche at the Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero.

Following a string of poor results in recent weeks, Atleti's title hopes hang in the balance, with three points this weekend crucial to Diego Simeone's title bid.

We say: Elche 1-2 Atletico Madrid

In typical Atleti manner, it will be a tight game, but we think Simeone's men will eventually come out on top in this tie. Expect archetypal finishes from the likes of Suarez and Marcos Llorente to seal it.

Huesca vs. Real Sociedad (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Real Sociedad will travel to Aragon this weekend for their La Liga clash against Huesca at El Alcoraz.

Three points for fifth-placed La Real could go a long way towards securing European football next season, while a win for Huesca would be a huge scalp in their pursuit of top-flight survival.

Huesca have been wont to play in strange cycles this season, with positive spells undermined by long periods of mediocrity. We think Pacheta's men will be up for this one, keeping the dream of the great Huescape alive and kicking - for now anyway.

Real Madrid vs. Osasuna (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Real Madrid will be bidding to return to winning ways in La Liga when they welcome Osasuna to the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium on Saturday night.

Los Blancos, who drew 0-0 with Real Betis last weekend, currently occupy second spot in the table, two points behind leaders Atletico Madrid, while Osasuna sit in 11th position in the division.

We say: Real Madrid 2-0 Osasuna

Madrid will certainly have one eye on next week's trip to Chelsea, but they cannot afford to drop more points in La Liga during a vital stage of the season. Osasuna are capable of making this a tricky match, but we are expecting the hosts to pick up all three points in relatively routine fashion.
