Saturday's La Liga predictions including Celta Vigo vs. Barcelona

Atletico vs. Las Palmas (Saturday, 1.00pm)

Atletico Madrid will be bidding to avoid a third straight defeat in all competitions when they continue their La Liga campaign at home to Las Palmas on Saturday afternoon.

Diego Simeone's side will enter this clash off the back of a 1-0 loss at Sevilla, while Las Palmas recorded a 2-0 victory over Valencia in their last match in Spain's top flight.

We say: Atletico Madrid 1-0 Las Palmas

This has all of the makings of a very difficult game for Atletico, with Las Palmas so impressive this season. Simeone's side have been excellent at home in 2023-24, though, and we are backing the Red and Whites to navigate their way to a huge three points.

Osasuna vs. Cadiz (Saturday, 3.15pm)

Osasuna will be aiming to make it successive victories in Spain's top flight when they welcome relegation-threatened Cadiz to El Sadar Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The home side will enter the contest off the back of an impressive 1-0 win away to Real Sociedad, while Cadiz's struggles continued last time out, losing by two goals at home to Real Betis.

We say: Osasuna 1-0 Cadiz

Cadiz are yet to win away from home this season and have netted just six times on their travels, so it is very difficult to back them to pick up a positive result on Saturday. We are not expecting it to be a comfortable win for Osasuna but are tipping them to secure all three points.

Celta Vigo vs. Barcelona (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Barcelona will be bidding to return to winning ways in Spain's top flight when they head to the Estadio Municipal de Balaidos on Saturday evening to tackle struggling Celta Vigo.

The visitors will enter the match off the back of a 3-3 draw with relegation-threatened Granada, while Celta suffered a 3-2 defeat to Getafe in their last La Liga clash.

We say: Celta Vigo 1-2 Barcelona

Barcelona have not lost on their travels in the league this season, boasting the third-best record in La Liga, while Celta have the third-worst record in front of their own fans. Celta recorded a 2-1 win over Barcelona in the corresponding game last season, but we can see Xavi's side securing all three points here.

Valencia vs. Sevilla (Saturday, 8.00pm)

A revitalised Sevilla will be bidding to make it three straight wins in La Liga when they head to Mestalla on Saturday evening for an intriguing contest with Valencia.

The visitors will enter the match off the back of a 1-0 success over Atletico Madrid, while Valencia suffered a 2-0 defeat to Las Palmas in their last game in Spain's top flight.

We say: Valencia 1-1 Sevilla

This has all the makings of a very interesting match, and it is a tough one to call. Valencia have been strong at home, but something has changed with Sevilla of late, and we can see the points being shared on Saturday.
