NAC Breda vs. Almere City (Saturday, 3.30pm)
Two sides currently undergoing a rough patch will do battle in round 14 of the 2024-25 Eredivisie season as NAC Breda entertain the challenge of Almere City on Saturday.
The home side are winless in their last four matches across all competitions, while the away side head to the Rat Verlegh Stadion off the back of four straight defeats.
We say: NAC Breda 1-0 Almere City
Almere City could really do with a positive result at the moment as they look to snap a woeful run of form and kickstart their season.
We are anticipating a drab and nervy affair with the home side just about edging out their visitors in the end.
Groningen vs. Willem II (Saturday, 5.45pm)
The second of four matches on Saturday afternoon in the Eredivisie will come from Euroborg where Groningen will be playing host to Willem II.
These two were separated by just four points at the top of the Eerste Divisie table last season and both matches between them last term ended level.
We say: Groningen 0-1 Willem II
Groningen have experienced a major drop-off in recent weeks, losing seven of their last eight matches, while failing to score in four of their last five, including in two of their last three games on their home patch.
Willem II, meanwhile, are gunning a third match unbeaten after a morale-boosting comeback against NAC Breda last week, and we feel they will be able to edge the hosts to a narrow victory in this one.
Feyenoord vs. Sittard (Saturday, 7.00pm)
Feyenoord seek a fourth consecutive league win when they welcome a Fortuna Sittard side four places back in the Eredivisie table in Saturday's gameweek 14 match at Stadion Feijenoord.
Fresh off a stunning comeback Champions League draw against Manchester City, the fourth-placed hosts seek to extend the travelling club's two-match losing sequence.
We say: Feyenoord 2-0 Fortuna Sittard
Even though Feyenoord had a demanding European match against Man City, they are still favoured to win their upcoming Eredivisie game, thus extending their winning streak to four in the competition and continuing their strong record against Fortuna Sittard, having not lost to them in their last 10 encounters.
PEC Zwolle vs. Sparta (Saturday, 8.00pm)
The final match on Saturday in the Eredivisie will be a crucial bottom-half clash at MAC³PARK Stadion between PEC Zwolle and Sparta Rotterdam.
These two sides are separated by just a single point this term, with the hosts currently on 12 and in 14th place, while the visitors are on 11 and two spots below them.
We say: PEC Zwolle 1-1 Sparta Rotterdam
There is very little to choose between these sides both in terms of the league standings and recent records right now, and we feel there will be nothing to separate them on the scoreline at the final whistle in this match.
