Salah's assist against Man City sees him break yet another personal record

The Egyptian winger grabbed an assist for Trent Alexander-Arnold late in the game as the Reds ended City's 23-game winning streak at home.

This assist took Salah to 17 goal contributions against City in just 20 games.

This consists of 11 goals and six assists, meaning Salah is always a thorn in City's side.

There is no other side he's faced in his career that he's had more personal success against.

Before this assist, his record against Man City was tied with Manchester United, with 16 goal contributions in 12 matches.

So it's clear that Salah loves playing against the Manchester sides.

The assist for Alexander-Arnold summed up Salah's growth as a footballer.

He will feel he could have had more assists as well, as he set up Darwin Nunez twice only to see Ederson make two top saves to deny the Uruguayan.
