It's bad news for Brighton... Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah hopes to make up for hitting the post twice against Inter Milan by netting a hat-trick on Saturday.
The Reds progressed to the last eight of the Champions League but were made to sweat as Inter came dangerously close to springing a shock at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp's side had a two-goal advantage going into the tie after the recent 2-0 win at the San Siro, but it was hardly a comfortable affair as Lautaro Martinez netted just after the hour mark to make it 1-0 to the Italians on the night.
However, just as Liverpool appeared to be under significant pressure, Alexis Sanchez was shown a second yellow card for his late challenge on Fabinho.
Reduced to 10 men, Inter's hopes faded and Liverpool took charge, with Salah missing guilt-edged chances, hitting both posts, while Luis Diaz had an effort from six yards remarkably blocked by Arturo Vidal.
Thus, despite those misses, in the end the Reds went through to the quarter-finals thanks to their 2-1 aggregate victory.

Pressed on whether it was simply one of those nights, Salah conceded: "Yeah, I hit the post twice but it's okay - maybe next game I'll score three.
"I don't mind as long as the team is winning the game or the team qualifies, winning for sure is the most important thing."
Liverpool have been in fine form of late, winning 12 consecutive games before Tuesday night's slip-up at home to Inter ended that impressive run.
Salah was quick to reflect on the defeat as something that could be turned into a positive.
"So, we lost a game - maybe that will give us that little bit more push, maybe in the back of our mind we were overconfident but I think it's good for us to take it and learn from it and just carry on."
The Egypt international also admitted his side were wasteful in front of goal against the reigning Serie A champions.
"Tonight we hit the post twice, we missed a lot of chances but that can happen in football and the good thing is that's not in the league. The main thing is that we have qualified so that is great."
Progression into the next round ensures that Liverpool's hopes for what would the most remarkable quadruple are still alive and kicking.
The Reds are currently six points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City but boast one game in hand, with the pair also due to face off in a mouthwatering clash at the Etihad too.
