The NFL legend was unveiled as Championship side Birmingham City's new minority shareholder in a shock announcement on Thursday.
Brady is now also chairman of the new advisory board, working directly with the club's board and members of Birmingham's leadership team.
After McElhenney and Reynolds' got Wrexham promoted back to the EFL after a 15-year absence at the second attempt, it's no surprise other A-listers now want to see if they can replicate the duo's success.
The Welsh outfit face MK Dons, who were relegated from League One last term, on the opening day.
But before action got underway in north Wales, the club's co-owners were quizzed on their reaction to the news of Brady investing in the EFL too.
