The 4-1 victory in the Europa Conference League round-of-32 saw the Foxes star taken off late on, having come on as a second half substitute.
The 25-year-old was brought on by Rodgers in the 64th minute, replacing Wilfred Ndidi.
His time on the pitch though lasted only 19 minutes when Hamza Choudhury came on in his place.
After going down on the pitch, Leicester medical staff rushed onto the field to perform tests, which included a pulse check.
Speaking on BT Sport, commentator Ian Darke confirmed that Maddison received further examinations when he made his way to the dressing room.
At the time, many were concerned, but thankfully Rodgers told reporters in his post-match press conference that he was feeling a lot better.
"He just felt a bit funny in the game, so we didn't want to put any risk with that," the former Celtic and Liverpool manager said.
"He didn't feel well, so we just took him off and he went in to see the doctors.
"I think it (taking his pulse) is just something they (medical staff) will do to see to how he's feeling.
"He was sat up when I spoke with him. He felt a little unwell in the game, a little bit faint, but he's OK."
