The Hollywood superstars completed their surprise move to buy the fifth-tier club earlier this year and have been throwing their weight behind the side.
The pair had been unable to attend until now, but turned up as Wrexham played Maidenhead at York Road, with the hosts 'delighted' to host the pair.
They were treated to plenty of emotion and drama as they got to grips with life at non-league level.
Maidenhead went 2-0 up while Wrexham also saw Bryce Hosannah sent off after just 31 minutes.
Goals from Paul Mullin and Jordan Davies got the Welsh club back on level terms with Reynolds and McElhenney pictured hugging one another on the terraces.
But they watched their side concede a 77th minute goal as they fell to a 3-2 defeat.
Wrexham remain 11th in the National League after the defeat, 13 points off top of the table Grimsby.
"It wasn't the result we wanted, but it was great to finally have our chairmen in the stands for the first time," the club tweeted.
Reynolds posted a series of images on Instagram and said: "Football is a staggering, heartbreaking, gorgeous, tommy-gun of soul-deadening, evil and beauty and I'm never sleeping again ever ever."
The pair were followed around by a film crew with a Netflix documentary being filmed about the pair's takeover of the club.
The Hollywood stars also look set to watch the team face Torquay at home on Saturday and will participate in community activities in North Wales, according to reports.
