The Red Devils star turned away to celebrate Man United going 2-0 up against Newcastle after his shot deflected in off Sven Botman.

On the day it was decided Botman scored an own goal with the ball sharply changing direction after deflecting off the Dutchman's boot and fly over Loris Karius' head. United went on to win the match 2-0.
However, that has since been amended after the EFL officially awarded the goal to Rashford after it was adjudged that the 25-year-old's initial shot was on target.
That keeps the Englishman's incredible scoring record up and it is now 17 goals netted in 19 appearances for him since the World Cup's conclusion in December.

Despite Rashford's inspired form in front of goal, Sir Alex Ferguson believes United still need to sign a striker in the summer.
Ferguson told Sky Sports of Rashford: "I don't think he's a striker. He operates away from the left-hand side and has been fantastic.
"His finishing is always good, always keeps his shots down - which is really important for a striker - and is in a great vein of form.

"Unfortunately for us, he's the main source of goals - we could do with an extra one, but he's doing it."
United signed Wout Weghorst in January on loan from Burnley, who has one goal in 12 appearances, but a striker is set to be one of the priority positions to bolster in the summer window.
Napoli star Victor Osimhen has been linked after an incredible season which has seen him score 21 times in 25 appearances in all competitions with Luciano Spaletti's team now 18 points clear at the top of Serie A.
Tottenham star Harry Kane and Benfica ace Goncalo Ramos are also strikers that have been linked with an Old Trafford switch.

Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag wants to keep the momentum going with the Red Devils still in three competitions having won the Carabao Cup.
The Dutchman said: "We have to celebrate but after that point you have to keep going because this cup can be the inspiration to get even more.

"We are still at the start of restoring Manchester United to where we belong - and that is winning trophies."
