With a ball played into the penalty area, Pulisic slammed home from the goal mouth but was clattered by Alireza Beiranvand in the process.
As a result, he lay on the floor in the back of the net as his teammates celebrated, before the USA medical team came on to treat him.
The 24-year-old was held by two physios as he eventually made his way back to his feet, leading to concern that he had done himself some serious damage.
Pulisic was able to rally and made his way back into the pitch to help his teammates for the rest of the half, despite looking less-than comfortable.

However his recovery was short-lived after being brought off at the half-time break and replaced by Leeds star Brendan Aaronson.
Thankfully for his teammates, the USA were able to hold on during a tense second half as they earned second spot in Group B, joining England in the next round.

They'll now face a tough test against the Netherlands.
