After spending the opening weeks of the current campaign on the bench, Alex Dyer has returned to the starting lineup in recent weeks and will be expected to retain his place.

In what was only his second senior appearance since joining from Sheffield United, Miguel Freckleton opened his account for Wealdstone last time out.

Scunthorpe's Joseph Nuttall was absent from his side's defeat to Dag & Red through suspension but this weekend's away side will be able to call upon their leading scorer once again.

This should see Markus Carver drop out of the XI to the bench off the back of a rare start for the 29-year-old forward in the aforementioned game
