Sporting Kansas City breezed past the challenge of Portland Timbers courtesy of a 4-1 victory against Portland Timbers when the teams faced off on Sunday.

Eighteen-year-old Tarik Scott will not feature again for Dallas this season due to a long-term knee injury which he suffered earlier this year.

Maarten Paes is also set to be unavailable for the third straight game as he continues to battle with a thorax problem, while Sebastian Lletget misses out with a thigh injury.

Meanwhile, Tsiki Ntsabeleng is a huge doubt for this one after coming off with an injury scare just nine minutes into the visitors' last involvement.

Sporting Kansas City's William Agada remains without an outing since April through a tibia stress fracture and he is joined on the sidelines by American trio Kortne Ford, Tim Melia and Kayden Pierre.

Following two unused substitute outings in a row, Felipe Hernandez was on target despite playing only 14 minutes against Portland Timbers, putting him in contention to play a part for the home side once again.
