Thirty-year-old Jonathan Rodriguez is unavailable for Club America due to a knee injury which he picked up towards the back end of last season.

Alejandro Zendejas is currently on international duty with the United States at the ongoing Gold Cup and he will not be playing any part for the hosts here.

Puebla's Brayan Angulo has started the season in good goalscoring for having netted in both of his opening two matches, making him one to keep an eye on.
