Since claiming consecutive victories in August, Antalyaspor only managed to pick up one point from six games, and as a result of their poor form, they head into Friday's contest in the bottom four.

A 1-1 home draw against Konyaspor halted a run of four consecutive defeats, but they were unable to build upon that result when they faced Alanyaspor in their most recent outing.

Although Haji Wright netted a brace against Alanayspor, it was not enough to prevent Antalyaspor from falling to a 3-2 away defeat.

While Nuri Sahin's side have now lost their last three away games, their home form has also been below par, with their previous three home matches yielding only one point.

If Antalyaspor are to start picking up points then a side that has the third-worst defensive record in the topflight needs to become more resolute.

Like their hosts, Istanbulspor are struggling this season, and defeat on Friday would see them drop into the relegation zone.

After beginning the season with two straight defeats, Istanbulspor looked to have turned a corner when they managed to put together a four-game unbeaten run.

However, their promising spell of form was ended by a 2-1 defeat at home to Ankaragucu, before another poor result followed at the weekend.

Istanbulspor failed to trouble the scorers in their away meeting with Istanbul Basaksehir where Youssouf Ndayishimiye netted a brace to wrap up a 2-0 victory for the hosts.

Although Osman Zeki Korkmaz's side were unable to take anything from Sunday's contest, they can take confidence from the fact that seven of their eight points this season have been picked up on their travels.

The hosts are without the services of Ruud Boffin and Alassane Ndao, who are both sidelined with injury issues.

Soner Aydogdu, Shoya Nakajima and Guray Vural are all available for selection after serving their respective suspension periods.

After coming off the bench at half time against Alanyaspor, Sam Larsson could be presented with starting place for Friday's contest.

As for Istanbulspor, they are still without the services of Eslem Ozturk due to a cruciate ligament injury, while Denis Kovacevic is also a doubt.

Korkmaz is expected to stick with the back three of Okan Erdogan, Mehmet Yesil and Adi Mehremic, who will be aiming to keep their second clean sheet of the season.

Despite losing to Istanbul Basaksehir at the weekend, the Istanbulspor boss could name an unchanged lineup for Friday's meeting with Antalyaspor.
