Over the years, we have seen legends of the game like Cristiano Ronaldo play in the top-flight, and even though, he's gone there are plenty of extremely decorated players remaining.
Stars from Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool have pretty much won it all at club and international level.
So, who are the top ten most decorated players still in the Premier League? talkSPORT.com takes a look.
NB: All club and national team honours, including the Community Shield, are counted but individual awards aren't
10. Kyle Walker (Manchester City) - 15
The England international didn't win a single major honour until he joined Manchester City in the summer of 2017 from Tottenham.

Since then, he's picked up five Premier League trophies in the space of six seasons, as well as several other domestic honours.
Walker has evolved into a genuine world-class full-back in all areas of his game.
His recovery pace ensures that no winger ever faces an easy match and his crowning moment came last season when he helped City win the treble, including that long-awaited Champions League trophy.
9. Phil Foden (Manchester City) - 16
Foden is a City academy graduate and could stay with the Manchester giants his whole career and consistently win things.

The England international is only 23 but has already picked up five Premier League winners medals.
Of course, when he first started, Foden didn't play that often, but he's a player Pep Guardiola has been patient with and is now getting the rewards.
He can play on either wing or just behind the striker and is arguably England's most talented player.
8. Bernardo Silva (Manchester City) - 20
The midfielder is another City player on this list but no other member of Guardiola's squad is as underrated.
The diminutive Portuguese international is one of his manager's favourite players and someone who his teammates love playing with, but he probably doesn't get as much respect as he should from the general public.
His time in Manchester has been filled with success, and during the semi-finals of the Champions League, he produced one of his best displays as City blew Real Madrid away to make it to the final.
Before moving to England, Bernardo played a huge role in a Monaco side that included Kylian Mbappe and Fabinho as they stunned everyone to win Ligue 1.
8. Mateo Kovacic (Manchester City) - 20
Kovacic is a recent addition to this City side, but he's already picked up a UEFA Super Cup medal.
He will no doubt hope that this year will see him claim his first Premier League title as well.
The Croatian international boasts a large collection of silverware, including four Champions League trophies.
Three of those came at Real Madrid, and the last one was with Chelsea, in which he played ten games as the Blues became champions of Europe.
Kovacic could never quite break into the Real midfield, but in England, he's thrived.
6. Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) - 21
The Belgian maestro is the longest-serving City player on this list, having joined the club in 2015 under Manuel Pellegrini.
And because of this, he only has one further City trophy than Walker, Foden or Bernardo.
But he was successful in Germany with Wolfsburg and in Belgium with his first club, Genk.
However, it's under Guardiola's guidance that we've seen the best of De Bruyne, who has 153 City assists to his name and a further 96 goals.
If it wasn't for injuries, the 32-year-old might have won even more, but he will be pretty content with his huge trophy haul that could easily grow this year and beyond.
6. Ederson (Manchester City) - 21
Ederson is the final City name on this list, and there aren't too many more important players than the goalkeeper.
His arrival at the Etihad in 2017 set the foundations for the dynasty that Guardiola has built in Manchester.
The 30-year-old is possibly the best goalkeeper in the world at playing out from the back, and he often plays as an extra outfield player, spraying passes all over the pitch.
In most games, he's rarely troubled due to City's superiority over many other sides.
But in the 2022/23 Champions League final, he came up with some huge saves to ensure his side were crowned champions of Europe.
4. Raphael Varane (Manchester United) - 22
As Varane approaches the end of his Manchester United contract, it would be fair to say the Red Devils haven't seen the best of the Frenchman.
The centre-back has spent a lot of time injured or not fully fit, but it would be harsh to forget how good he was.
For the best part of a decade, he and Sergio Ramos formed the ideal central defensive partnership at Real Madrid.
The ex-Lens man has been one of Didier Deschamps' go-to players, and he played a huge role in France's 2018 World Cup win while helping get Les Bleus to the final in 2022.
3. Casemiro (Man United) - 23
The Brazilian enforcer's signing was criticised by many non-Man United fans due to the fee [potentially £70m] and his wages, which are estimated to be over £300,000-a-week.
But during his first year, he helped the Red Devils win the League Cup and proved why he's been so successful.
There aren't many more determined players than Casemiro, and that attitude has helped him pick up a huge swathe of trophies.
While at Real, he was the perfect foil for Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, and that midfield trio won five Champions League trophies before Casemiro moved on.
2. Thiago Silva (Chelsea) - 33
Thiago Silva has been one of the best modern-day defenders and boasts an incredible collection of trophies at the age of 39.
He might have lost his pace, but the Brazilian is still one of Chelsea's best players and a crucial part of Mauricio Pochettino's plans.
After starting off in Brazil, he joined AC Milan and then became one of Paris Saint-Germain's first marquee signings.
While in France, he won a host of domestic honours but never got that Champions League trophy.
But that all changed in 2021 when the centre-back helped the Blues become champions of Europe and, in doing so, fulfil a lifelong dream.
1. Thiago Alcantara (Liverpool) - 35
Thiago has played for three of the world's biggest clubs across his career, and as a result, he's the most decorated active Premier League player.
The Spanish international started his career with Barcelona during their peak years under Guardiola.

From here, he won plenty of honours before joining Bayern Munich and helped them dominate German football and win the Champions League during the 2019/20 campaign.
His latest move to Liverpool hasn't quite worked out due to fitness problems, but he showed what he was capable of during the 2021/22 season as the Reds won the League Cup and FA Cup while narrowly missing out on the Premier League and Champions League.
